“You‘d better beg for my forgiveness right now, or I can get a team of honor guards to my aid anytime,” chipped in Charles as soon as Micah finished speaking.
Isaac chuckled. “Good for you. There, go ahead and try.”
Charles took out his phone and made the call.
Micah stood and scolded, “Mr. Garten, you can still change your mind now. The school can apologize to Isabella, but there is no way we will fire Charles. Absolutely impossible!”
“I want favonovel.com gone by today,” said Isaac indignantly. He sat on a chair beside him.
Outside the office, Allegra was very nervous. Isabella asked, “Mom, will they bully Mister?”
“He‘s more than capable of fending for himself. He will be fine.” Allegra faked a smile, even though favonovel.com was panicking too.
At this moment, there was a marching sound. A team of men in combat uniforms appeared in the stairway. They were intimidating as they marched toward the office.
There were a few dozen of them. Half of them marched directly into the office, while the other half blocked the entrance.
Allegra’s heart jolted. She grabbed Isabella and wanted to follow, but two men stopped her.
“See this, punk? There’s still time for you to beg me for forgiveness.” Charles’ arrogance went through the roof at the sight of his men.
Micah stared at Isaac.
“Look at how cocky you are. I can’t imagine what it’ll be like if you have the power to command an army of millions.” Isaac got up from his seat and walked forward.
He took out a small golden plate from his pocket. The plate was half the size of his palm and looked like a soaring eagle, engraved with the words “Commander’s Seal” in bold, red lettering.
“You were a former warrior. Do you know how many people I can command when I’m holding this eagle-shaped seal?” Isaac showed Micah the Commander’s Seal.
The latter merely glanced at the seal and snorted, “The hell is this… Commander’s Seal?” Micah’s eyes widened.
The next moment, Micah started shuddering violently. He rose from his seat slowly, his eyeballs almost popping out of his eye sockets.
Sweat poured down his forehead. He stumbled as favonovel.com walked toward Isaac. He reached out to touch the seal but stopped mid-air and dared not move another inch.
“It’s Drakon’s Commander’s Seal!” Micah took a bow and did not utter another word.
“Grandpa Micah, have you lost it? Why are you bowing to a little punk? You…”
Micah bellowed at the uniformed men in the office, “Bow! All of you, now!”
The men were aware of Micah’s identity. Thus, though alarmed, all of them bowed without hesitation.
Charles was the only one with a dumbfounded look on his face.
“Are there any issues with laying off this guy?”
“Ab-Absolutely not! It will be done instantly!”
“I hope you seal your lips tight about today’s incident.”
“Yes, sir.”
Isaac kept his Commander’s Seal and left. Nobody dared to stand in his way.
“Grandpa Micah, are you serious about laying me off? Don’t you need to discuss it with my father or grandfather?” asked Charles.
