“Bella, can you tell me how you got your wounds? You know I’m pretty good at fighting. I can help you teach a lesson to those who bullied you. But you have to tell me what happened.” Isaac kneeled in front of Isabella.
Isabella sobbed as favonovel.com said, “The teacher hit me. H-He said that was my punishment because I could not finish running three miles. T-The teacher hit many of my friends. B-But, nobody dared to say anything.”
Isaac frowned deeper. He carried Isabella in his arms and left the house.
Carmine Elementary School had a tranquil environment. Isaac led Isabella and Allegra straight to the school office.
Mia Carling, the head teacher, was a bespectacled woman in favonovel.com middle age. She looked calm as favonovel.com listened to Isaac.
“Mr. Owens is a relatively young teacher. He may have been too energetic and increased the physical training load to new heights. But, this works well to discover hidden potentials in our children.”
“But it’s never heard of for children aged six or seven to finish running three miles. How could children this young endure such training?” Allegra’s eyes were red.
“Alright, let’s assume three miles is a normal running distance. How could favonovel.com hit the children? It is way beyond physical punishment. It is downright abuse.” Allegra was trembling with rage.
Mia sighed. “What can the school do for you?”
Isaac spoke frankly, “I don’t need apologies, nor am I asking for compensation. I only believe in an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.”
Hearing that, Mia smiled wanly. She took a stack of paper from a drawer and put it on the table.
“These are letters of complaint from the parents to the school this year alone. And yet, here they are, returned to me. Do you know why? The reason is the school can’t do anything to Mr. Owens. Have you heard of the Owens family in the provincial capital?”
“They have been in the military force for generations. Mr. Owens is here only for the qualifications. He’ll leave after a year. You should return home and put on some ointment for your child. It’ll be alright after another six months…”
Isaac snorted, “I won’t leave until I meet Mr. Owens today.”
Allegra looked slightly nervous. She did not expect Isabella’s abuser to have such a background.
Seeing how determined Isaac was, Mia hesitated before sighing. “Alright, you’ll have what you wish. I’ll get him.”
Isaac picked up the stack of complaint letters, took photos of them individually, and sent them to Beefy Bob.
“I-Isaac, why not we let it be? Let’s transfer Isabella to another school.” Allegra thought of giving in.
She believed it when Serena said that Carmine Elementary School was one of the top elementary schools, but favonovel.com could not have Isabella suffer from abuse. They would just have to transfer to another school.
“It’s too late for that.” Isaac chuckled.
Footsteps approached the office, followed by a confident male voice. “I was wondering why Isabella Booth was missing last night. There favonovel.com is, running back to favonovel.com parents and complaining about me. So? I heard you’re dissatisfied with me as a teacher and wanted a confrontation.” Charles Owens entered the room.
Charles was a tall young man wearing a combat uniform. His hands were behind his back as favonovel.com stopped in front of Isaac, looking at Isaac arrogantly.
Isabella hid behind Isaac once favonovel.com saw Charles, shivering all over.
“It was easy for you to whip my child, wasn‘t it?” Isaac looked at Charles coldly.
“Hmph! You are too soft as parents. Have you not heard of the saying ‘spare the rod, spoil the child’? It’s known as discipline. It’s to train them. It’s not just plain whipping!” Charles retaliated loudly.
Isaac snorted and said, “Alright, then. I see you’re a young brat yourself. I’ll take it into my hands to discipline and train you!”
