Allen thought his son had made it out of the lion’s den, but just as favonovel.com bolted toward the stage frantically, Isaac suddenly raised his right hand and slammed it on Gregory’s head.
The power from his palm bore straight through Gregory’s head with the force of 100 pounds!
Before favonovel.com could even take in a breath, Gregory’s eyes popped open, and favonovel.com fell to his knees next to Isaac. A look of agony materialized and became permanently etched on his face.
The audience gaped at the sight of Mr. Merck Jr. suddenly kneeling next to Isaac as blood poured from his eyes, nose, and ears. He was bleeding from all his orifices.
This guy just killed the son of the Merck family right in front of his father?
Mr. Merck Jr. of Cloud City was dead?
“From now onward, anyone who dares to touch Allegra or Isabella will end up like this person next to me!” Isaac’s words resonated through the depths of everyone’s souls as if they had come from an endless abyss.
“Son!” Allen screamed, rushing onto the stage to hold Gregory in his arms.
He held his shaking hand to Gregory’s nose, but the latter was no longer breathing.
Allen slowly turned to Isaac, pointing at him.
Snarling, favonovel.com roared, “Kill that punk! I want his body in pieces now!”
Only Allen’s screams could be heard in that spacious, grassy field. His bodyguards could sense the rage rolling off their master’s body, so they charged onto the stage.
All of a sudden, chaos erupted.
At that moment, a low woosh sounded in the sky, and a huge shadow fell over the field.
Everyone raised their heads to see a helicopter whirling not more than 300 feet over their heads while another helicopter followed closely behind.
Two ropes dropped from the helicopter, and guards in full uniforms slid down one after the other.
The more knowledgeable ones in the audience could immediately identify that the two helicopters hovering above their heads were the latest military helicopters.
The Merck family’s bodyguards were stunned. Allen also raised his head, watching the guards drop down from above one by one.
Sirens rang through the premises, and guards dressed in deep green uniforms barged in. The field was once again surrounded, but no one dared make a noise this time.
A total of 20 guards landed around the stage. Ten of them rushed up to surround Allen. They reloaded their guns in unison with a resounding click The sound made the stupefied Allen sober up instantly.
“Which unit are you from? Do you know who I am?” Allen turned his head, shouting in all directions.
A middle-aged man, who had previously shown up at Beacon Clinic, walked over briskly. He retrieved his gun from its holster at his waist and held it to Allen’s temple.
“Mr. Merck Sr., please calm down…”
Allen startled violently. He looked sideways at this man who sported a lieutenant’s epaulet on his shoulder and snarled, “My son is dead, and you’re asking me to calm down? Shouldn’t you be pointing your guns at that murderer? Are you all idiots?”
“We will give you one minute to collect yourself and take your son’s body away. Or else you’re responsible for your own fate!” the middle-aged man said quickly in a commanding tone.
