“Who do you think you are, punk? How dare you ask Old Alec to give you an explanation? If you think you’re all that, you should fight me first!” Ray taunted.
Edward also shouted in a cold voice, “Garten, you need to reflect on what a shameless person you are! When my father made a name for himself, you were still a single cell.”
“Dad, there’s no need to fight with this asshole,” Edward added, comforting his father. “Go get some rest.”
But Alec was already furious, despite not showing it blatantly. He turned to look at Ray and then smiled suddenly.
“Punk, Mr. Luther said favonovel.com wanted to challenge you. If you dare to take up his challenge, I will give Allegra an explanation. But you! You have no right to ask me for an explanation,” Alec said, coldness flickering in his eyes.
How dare that punk put favonovel.com on the spot like that?
He wanted to have Ray teach this bastard, who reminded favonovel.com of his useless son-in-law back then, a lesson.
Isaac smiled. “Well, you call the shots in the Gould and Booth families. I guess I have no choice but to fight today. You’d better explain why Ally was in such a bad place for the past seven years!”
Isaac walked up the stage after favonovel.com finished speaking.
“Wait,” Alec called from behind.
Isaac turned his head. He watched as Alec glanced around favonovel.com before saying loudly, “Young man, I ask Mr. Luther to battle you on my behalf today. If you lose, you will have to apologize to my family. When it comes to your relationship with Allegra and how you injured my family, I can let bygones be bygones! So you’d better think this through!”
Allegra immediately reached out to tug Isaac’s hand when favonovel.com heard this. With a sorrowful look, favonovel.com shook favonovel.com head at Isaac.
A stormy look crossed Isaac’s eyes, asking Allegra not to worry. Then, favonovel.com confidently turned to point at Ray. “And if that guy loses?”
Alec’s eyes widened. Next to him, Edward immediately snarled and said, “Dad, how could Mr. Luther lose? You know how strong favonovel.com is.”
“If Mr. Luther loses, I’ll give Allegra a satisfactory explanation. What else do you want?” Alec asked disdainfully.
Isaac suddenly burst out laughing. “A satisfactory explanation, you say? If you want me to take action, then an explanation is far from enough.”
After favonovel.com said that, favonovel.com suddenly quickened his pace and strode up the stage.
Ray also walked forward when favonovel.com saw this.
When the guests saw Isaac, who had ridiculed the family patriarch and looked down upon Mr. Luther, walk up, they all stood up and extended their necks to get a better look at the stage. They all thought this bastard who came out of nowhere had a screw loose and was simply asking for death.
When Allegra saw that Isaac was already on stage, favonovel.com immediately turned to Beefy Bob and said fearfully, “Bob, you have to get favonovel.com down now! He won’ t be able to beat Mr. Luther, he’s really strong. Or you could go up there and help him!”
She was bouncing with anxiety.
First of all, favonovel.com didn’t understand why Isaac would agree to spar with Mr. Luther or get under favonovel.com grandfather’s skin.
Was favonovel.com trying to piss off both the Goulds and the Booths?
Allegra didn’t understand why favonovel.com was so worried, but favonovel.com was full of dread.
Seeing how agitated favonovel.com was, Beefy Bob didn’t dare laugh.
He just nodded and said seriously, “Allegra, I’ll keep a close eye on them. If things go south, I’ll go up there and beat up Luther.”
Allegra saw Beefy Bob step forward and immediately let out a sigh of relief. At the very least, favonovel.com knew that this fatso was capable.
On stage, Ray and Isaac stood face-to-face. Below, the guests and the nosy staff made up over 100 people. They were all straining their necks to watch the show.
Ray flexed at the audience below.
He bellowed, “Everyone, today was supposed to be Old Alec’s grandson’s big day, but Old Alec has entrusted me with the task of sparring with this arrogant bastard. Please consider this a form of entertainment, and just sit back and watch the show.”
