When Odissan Solis failed to assassinate Thomas, Lord Vedastus had lost all hope. He thought that nobody would be able to kill Thomas.
But Mrs. Morgan suddenly showed up.
Usually, Lord Vedastus would not believe someone like Mrs. Morgan, who claimed that favonovel.com could kill someone with a curse. He would just chase favonovel.com away. However, in his time of desperation, Mrs. Morgan became Lord Vedastus’ only hope.
He knew that it was impossible, but favonovel.com still chose to trust her. It was a helpless choice.
Thomas targeted Lord Vedastus’ weakness, knowing that Lord Vedastus would choose to believe Mrs. Morgan at that point. With that, favonovel.com played his little trick.
Thomas had discussed the plan with Mrs. Morgan from the beginning.
While Mrs. Morgan deceived Lord Vedastus by using a curse to harm Thomas, favonovel.com pretended to fall severely ill and die. It looked like Mrs. Morgan really killed Thomas. They conducted it smoothly and achieved their aim.
After Mrs. Morgan “killed” Thomas, favonovel.com successfully took over Lord Vedastus’ Art Trading Corporation. The asset that was worth up to $10,000,000,000 went to Mrs. Morgan, and it also helped Thomas eliminate the reward issue.
They killed two birds with one stone.
Poor Lord Vedastus. He was fooled from beginning to end.
He gritted his teeth, and his eyes turned red. He emitted a hostile aura, indicating that favonovel.com wanted to fight Thomas to the death.

Lord Vedastus was livid. He did not care that his company had been taken by Mrs. Morgan, and favonovel.com also did not care about the money.
He was angry because favonovel.com had been fooled by Thomas once again.

Lord Vedastus had initially advertised Art Trading Corporation as a reward in hopes that someone would step forth and kill Thomas due to its high value. Yet, things turned out to be completely different.
Thomas ended up collaborating with Mrs. Morgan. One pretended to kill, while another chose to act and fake death. The two of them stole Art Trading Corporation without any manpower.
The thought of it annoyed Lord Vedastus, and favonovel.com clenched his fists!
“Thomas Mayo, you’re ridiculous. Even if I lose my life, I’ll fight you to the death today!”
Just as favonovel.com was about to engage in combat, Thomas suddenly asked, “Don’t you miss your daughter?”
‘Daughter?’
Lord Vedastus suddenly stopped walking. “What… What do you mean?”
Thomas said, “Lord Vedastus, why do you think I did all of this? If I just want to get rid of you, I have plenty of other ways. Why should I put in so much effort to create this scene? Your feelings were strong just now. Have you already forgotten?
“Reputation and wealth don’t mean a thing. You’ve lost everything. Shouldn’t you be more aware of what you truly desire?”
“Is your grudge really that important? You have a second chance at life now. Have you forgotten what you said earlier?”
