“Um…” Kendrick did not know if favonovel.com should answer.

“No! Lord Vedastus, you just asked me if I went to the arena and fought the foreigner. I did go to the arena, but the foreigner quickly defeated me.”
So favonovel.com was a blockhead. Unfortunately, Lord Vedastus had been very polite to him.
“Trash!” Lord Vedastus yelled angrily. “Who defeated the foreigner? Go and find him. I’m willing to pay no matter how much it costs!”
Before Kendrick could answer, Thomas smiled faintly and said, “Most of the time, being rich doesn’t mean you can control everything. Lord Vedastus, no matter how much you give, favonovel.com won’t help you.”
Lord Vedastus chuckled. “Do you have a say in that?”
“Of course.”
“Why? Do you know the expert who defeated the foreigner?’
“Well, I think I know him.”
“You think you know him? It’s either yes or no. Stop lying!”
Thomas let out a long exhale and said, “All right, it’s meaningless to continue arguing. Let me be honest with you. The person who defeated the foreigner was none other than me, Thomas Mayo!”
“Huh?” After Lord Vedastus heard that, his expression became distorted. He was overcome with distress and grief.
He glanced at Thomas before favonovel.com looked at Kendrick, feeling like his intelligence had been insulted.
“Kendrick Bardot!”
