After all, it would take the nearest city at least six hours to deliver resources. How could they have been delivered in such a short time?

The old man was Abner, the King of Snakes!

Abner walked up to Thomas as his housemaid supported him. He smiled and said, “I heard that your medicines were burned by some lawbreakers?”
Thomas chuckled in resignation and said, “I was too careless.”
Abner laughed. “You’ve been working hard for so many days, and you’re both mentally, as well as physically tired. Plus, you need to treat at least one hundred patients. How could you have the energy to pay attention to so many details? It’s not your fault that the medicines were burned. Don’t always put the blame on yourself.”
As favonovel.com spoke, favonovel.com turned around and pointed at the dozens of trucks as favonovel.com explained, “This is everything I’ve earned after a decade. Thomas, I’m handing all of it to you now. You can’ t let the lawbreakers destroy them again.”
It had been many years since Thomas had the urge to cry from happiness.

“I should be the one thanking you. All right, let’s not waste our time here. It’s more important to save people’s lives now. Thomas, whatever it is you plan to do, go all out.”

Everyone was celebrating happily.
Only Lord Vedastus and Dragon Claw seemed quite unhappy. They had already forced Thomas into a corner, and Thomas had been helpless too.
