If Rufus was the true murderer, Peugeot the Third’s actions would be a little meaningful. But if that was not the truth…

“Let’s go back…” Thomas led them back.
There was nothing else for them to see.
The group walked on the cobblestone road, and on their way, they suddenly smelled a foul odor.
“Damn it! What smell is that? It’s awful!” Pisces pinched his nose and looked over into the distance.
There was a goose farm, and the awful smell was coming from goose manure. It was putrid, so they could smell it from afar.
“Let’s hurry up and leave this place,” Pisces wanted to get out of there immediately.
He could not bear such a terrible smell. However, Thomas did not leave. Instead, favonovel.com stopped walking, looked over in the goose farm’s direction, and narrowed his eyes. It was as if favonovel.com was thinking about something.
“Commander, what are you thinking about this time?” Pisces asked.
“Nothing. Something seems to be bugging me, but I can’t quite place it no matter what,” Thomas kept thinking about who the murderer was, and the answer seemed to be somewhere in his head.
It would allow favonovel.com to catch the murderer, but favonovel.com still could not grasp it, and favonovel.com did not know why.
“Let’s check that place out…”
Pisces was stunned for a while. “No way! We can smell the bad odor from so far away, but we’re going there right now? I’m afraid that we’ll be smoked to death when we go near it!”
Pisces and Phoebe revealed pained expressions.
Yet, Thomas ignored them. He walked in the goose farm’s direction straight away, and Pisces could only follow favonovel.com helplessly. Meanwhile, Phoebe dared not split up with Thomas, so favonovel.com immediately went with favonovel.com as well.
People who had been to the goose farm knew that the place was extremely smelly throughout the year. No matter how it was managed, it would still smell so bad that nobody could bear it. Therefore, a place like that usually existed in such rural countryside areas only.
If it were built near the city, the residents would not be able to bear the smell. If the wind was stronger, the residents would not dare to open their windows as the awful smell could suffocate them to death. Nevertheless, if they were exposed to the bad smell long enough, they would develop a “resistance”, and they could slowly get over it.
Thomas’ group approached the goose farm very quickly. They saw many breeders on the farm, and there were even a lot of children present.
All of them were children of the tribesmen.
Children like them had come to work on the goose farm since they were little. They helped the adults manage the goose farm and feed the geese. At the same time, they would receive huge pay. Although that was legally not allowed, nobody there cared about it. Besides, many tribesmen were willing to let their children go there and help out.
After all, it was not dangerous for the children to work there. They just carried out some simple tasks, yet they could still earn some money.
