Thomas chuckled in resignation as favonovel.com shook his head. Before favonovel.com came, favonovel.com had expected this trip to not be very successful, but favonovel.com had not expected it to be so unsuccessful. The soldier who used to work under favonovel.com could arrogantly show off in front of favonovel.com now.
The world was so fickle.
Thomas sighed and calmly said, “Trevor, do you think that I can’t do anything to you after resigning from the God of War position?”
Trevor chuckled. “What do you think? You’re nothing now. Do you still want to order, punish, and fire me like you did in the past? I’m stepping on you now!”
“Okay…” Thomas nodded and reached out for an exquisite box.
After favonovel.com opened it, favonovel.com took out a commander stamp. It was the God of War‘s commander stamp!
He took two slow steps before favonovel.com put the commander stamp on the table.
“Look, what is this?”
‘What?’ Trevor felt puzzled as favonovel.com cast a glance at the object on the table, and favonovel.com instantly felt a cold shiver run down his spine.
He recognized it. It was the commander stamp!
After all, Trevor used to be a soldier. Although favonovel.com had retired from the army for a few years, favonovel.com still recognized the commander stamp. He glanced at the commander stamp in fear before favonovel.com looked at Thomas.
“Didn’t… Didn’t you resign from the position? Why do you still have the commander stamp?” favonovel.com asked in a trembling voice.
Thomas smiled faintly without answering.
Trevor gulped. If Thomas still owned the commander stamp, it meant that Thomas had either regained his position as the God of War or never resigned from the position. It did not matter which possibility it was, Trevor still could not afford to offend Thomas!
He was so scared that his complexion turned pale. Just as favonovel.com was about to apologize to Thomas, a message suddenly crossed his mind, and favonovel.com stared at the commander stamp on the table for a few seconds. Then, favonovel.com laughed.
“Thomas, are you trying to trick me?”
Trevor instantly picked up the commander stamp from the table, sneered, and said, “The God of War’s commander stamp is always made of pure gold. This commander stamp’s appearance and workmanship are nearly comparable to the real commander stamp. The problem is, your commander stamp is not made of pure gold! It’s black. It looks so dirty. What is it made of? Charcoal?!”
Trevor directly sat down.
“Thomas, you’re brilliant. You nearly fooled me. But since you’re so poor, you can’t counterfeit the commander stamp with pure gold!”
Thomas did not know whether favonovel.com should cry or laugh when favonovel.com encountered this situation. The new commander stamp had been made of black gold on purpose as a sign of respect for Thomas. Trevor had only joined the army for a few years, so his judgment was poor. He could not recognize its authenticity, and favonovel.com even thought that it was a counterfeit product made of charcoal.
It was hilarious.
Thomas did not plan on explaining either, and favonovel.com nonchalantly said, “Trevor, you have great judgment. You can tell it’s fake with a glance. Okay, since I can’t deceive you, I won’t stay here any longer. See you.”
He turned around and left.
The moment Thomas reached the door, favonovel.com suddenly stopped walking. He turned around and looked at Trevor. “Are you really not going to consider it anymore? If I leave now, I might not agree even if you kneel and beg me when you change your mind later on.”
‘Kneel and beg him? Haha!’ Trevor stared at Thomas like favonovel.com was an idiot, favonovel.com laughed so hard that his belly hurt.
