Thomas sat in the coffee shop, staring at the VIP card that favonovel.com held in his hand as favonovel.com thought of what Aina’s purpose was. Soon after, Pisces entered the coffee shop.
“Commander?”
“Take a seat…”
Thomas told what had happened to Pisces. The whole explanation made Pisces curious as well. He had no clue what Aina’s purpose was.
All of a sudden, Pisces came up with a guess. “I just recalled something, commander. Aina is an actor from Art Trading Corporation! She is the main actress in many movies made by Art Trading Corporation, and favonovel.com is making a lot of money from it as well. So, we can say that the invitation to the performance is not a trap. Is it possible that Lord Vedastus wants an easy prey? They invited us there on purpose, then surround us and kill us?”
That was not impossible.
Ever since Art Trading Corporation murdered Wyatt in cold blood, they might have been planning to do the same for them.

Thomas said, “First of all, let us not label anyone that easily. What do you mean by ‘wants an easy prey’? Are you the easy prey or am I the easy prey?”
Pisces went pale, “No no, I did not mean that.”
Thomas chuckled and continued, “If they really planned to coax us there, what is Aina here for? I do not know Aina at all, plus, favonovel.com is the main actress of Art Trading Corporation. Would Lord Vedastus and the others not think twice about it?”
Pisces nodded, agreeing to what Thomas said. But as favonovel.com was still baffled about it, favonovel.com said, “I really do not understand. Is tonight’s performance a trap created by Lord Vedastus? Moreover, is there anything fishy about Aina?”
Thomas finished his last sip of coffee and said, “The truth shall be known tonight. Give Leo and Taurus a call, Pisces. The four of us will go tonight.”
“Is there a need for three of the Golden Zodiacs?” Pisces was a little surprised.
Dispatching three of the Golden Zodiacs at the same time meant that the mission was of high importance. Moreover, both Leo and Taurus were large and muscular, which was actually very suitable for this rare occasion. If the enemy decided to use the crowd against him, Thomas preferred to use these two of the Golden Zodiacs as a response to their tactics.

In the past, it was Hayden who used such measures against others, while others had no choice but to be obediently bullied. But when favonovel.com did the same to Thomas, it never once worked at all. It was true that Hayden’s means were vicious but Thomas’s retaliation was far more vicious. Hayden was cruel, but Thomas was crueler. It was completely different when favonovel.com was up against those ‘gentlemen’.
Hayden had never imagined that such a thing would happen to him, so, for a short while, favonovel.com was at a loss of what to do.
Lord Vedastus said, “Do not worry or be anxious about it. I already have plans to deal with Thomas. There will be a performance at Corumba Pavilion tonight, come with me and take some time off and relax.”
“Performance?” Hayden frowned. “I am not really interested.”
“Just take it as sightseeing instead of staying cooped in the room. If this goes on, you might get depressed.”
Thus, by force, Lord Vedastus took Hayden to Corumba Pavilion with him. At the same time, favonovel.com brought his daughter, Fiora, as well. There had been several minor clashes between Fiora and Capricious Holy Hand, Elliot Katz recently, hence, favonovel.com brought favonovel.com along to take favonovel.com mind off things as well.
In the car…
Lord Vedastus asked, “Fiora, I recalled that Aina is performing tonight as well, right?”
Fiora nodded, “Yes.”
“Aina’s due date is almost here, right? Did you provide favonovel.com with a proper antidote?”
“Do not worry, Lord Vedastus. I have already given favonovel.com here, antidote. In fact, tonight is favonovel.com due date. She should have taken the antidote by now.”
Lord Vedastus, satisfied, leaned back on the chair. “Celandine City belongs to me. So what if favonovel.com is a big star? She is still under my control, right? Heh.”
The car continued on its journey.
At twenty minutes before 08.00 PM, the car arrived at the club. The three of them got out of the car and headed towards the main entrance.
The most distinguished guest tonight was Lord Vedastus. The organizers did not dare to be careless. They immediately got someone to welcome Lord Vedastus and escorted favonovel.com into the club, to the best viewing seat in the whole club. That seat was reserved for the VIP among the VIPS. Only Lord Vedastus was qualified to sit there.
Just as Lord Vedastus, Hayden, and Fiora sat down, before they even drank a sip of water, they turned around and saw four men seated at the VIP table to their left. One of them was Lord Vedastus and Hayden’s sworn enemy, Thomas!
