Declan’s image and temperament were similar to what Thomas had imagined. He looked like a noble European gentleman from the last century, and favonovel.com resembled a vampire who lived in the castle, like those in the movies. His complexion was so fair that it was terrifying.
“This is Mr. Declan Mars, Head of the House of Vistaria,” Blake introduced.
Thomas and Pisces immediately stood up to show their respect.
Declan was very aloof, or one could say, proud. He did not show even the most basic courtesy. He did not walk over and shake hands with Thomas. He just walked to the main seat at the long table, sat down, and stared at Thomas coldly. This man did not respect others at all.
It was actually not strange. With his status, even if Lord Vedastus was there, favonovel.com would not take favonovel.com seriously either. As the only person who could talk to Luck in Celandine City, Declan had a pretty high status.
He just stared at Thomas in silence.

Declan said, “What you say sounds logical, but can you really do that? Can you really prepare a stranger’s favorite food based on his physical condition and preference?”
“Yes,” Thomas firmly answered.
“It’s not that I don’t believe you, but this sounds so mysterious, hence I find it hard to believe…” Declan added, “Mr. Mayo, if you can achieve this on the spot and make me believe you, I’ll acknowledge you and allow you to come here to cook for Phoebe every day.”
“I’d like to give it a try then,” Thomas replied.
Subsequently, Declan clapped his hands, and four men in chef’s uniforms immediately came out.
Declan introduced them. “These are the top chefs whom I‘ve hired, and they are paid handsomely. There’s no delicious dish in this world that they haven’t tried before. If you can cook something that makes all of them happy, I’ll be truly convinced.”
Declan paused for a while before favonovel.com continued. “Also, I’d like to increase the difficulty a little for you, Mr. Mayo. You can only prepare one dish that can satisfy the four of them at the same time. Let me be honest with you. The four of them have totally different tastes. They like sour, spicy, sweet, and bitter food respectively. Mr. Mayo, can you complete this challenge?”
It was an impossible mission. Thomas had to prepare a dish that could satisfy four people with different tastes simultaneously. Plus, they were not even regular people but the chefs who were used to eating delicious food.
Could anyone do that? It seemed like only God could do such a thing, right?
It was too difficult.
Blake stood at the side and frowned. He wore an uneasy expression because favonovel.com was the one who invited Thomas over. He had initially thought that Thomas could cook for Phoebe after favonovel.com came over, but did not expect favonovel.com to face such troubles.
