“He went to Thomas to treat his disease?” Silvester sniggered with joy. “Who does favonovel.com think Thomas is? Asclepius?!”
“I have to admit that Thomas has superb medical skills. Back then, I underestimated his medical skills, which caused Vincent to join hands with him. But this is an entirely different matter! No matter how good Thomas is, favonovel.com will never be able to cure Daniel’s disease. Without the goods, no one will be able to cure him. Let us assume they have the goods, but even with that, the most they could do is to suppress the disease. It is a fool’s dream for them to be able to cure it entirely!”
If it had been that easy to cure the disease, Art Trading Corporation would not have been able to take over Southland District so easily.
Bernard said, “Both you and I know that, but not Daniel. Even if favonovel.com knew, it is normal for someone who is about to die to have an unrealistic dream of being cured completely, right?”
After a pause, favonovel.com continued, “At this point, Daniel can only grab on whatever straws favonovel.com can find. With his current condition, there is no way to cure him. But favonovel.com even wants to pull us down with him!”
“Hence, we should take action against favonovel.com before favonovel.com can do anything to us! And we have to make it look like an accident to not frighten others as well.”
Silvester laughed upon hearing what his brother said. “We should have done that long ago! Sit tight, brother. I will find someone to get rid of that rascal right away!”
As favonovel.com finished his sentence, Bernard turned around and left in a gleeful mood. He had been having it rough recently and wanted to find someone to vent to. And on the list was Daniel.
How hard can it be to make his death an accident?
It would be fine as long as the cause of the death was nothing out of the ordinary. Piece of cake!
Silvester called the butler as soon as favonovel.com left the building. “Get rid of someone for me. Daniel Murdoch. Keep in mind that favonovel.com should die by accident. We can come up with excuses when asked and prevent others from panicking.”
The butler agreed. “No problem!”

It was dark
Daniel was caught in a traffic jam on his way back home.
The entire road was full of cars, jammed. They were unable to move even an inch forward. It was like a student being punished, standing in the corridor for half an hour and not being allowed to move from the spot. The number of cars on the road was uncountable at this point and they were stuck there.
“What is going on? Go take a look…” Daniel, who was already upset and had a lot of things in his mind, became even more aggravated.
The driver pushed the door open and ran to the front to see what was going on. He came running back after a short while and said, “There has been an accident involving more than twenty cars at the front. They are blocking the road and no one knows when the road will be cleared.”
Daniel was truly upset. He took a look behind and found out that there were rows and rows of cars behind favonovel.com as well. He could not leave, no matter what. He had been sandwiched in the middle, unable to move forward or backward. It was really upsetting.
Looking at the current situation, it was inevitable for them to need at least five or six hours more before they could go home.
What could be done about it?
Daniel smashed the coke in his hand on the trunk of the car out of rage. He wanted to punch someone to vent his anger.
It was awkward for the driver as well. He turned and looked to his side and suggested, “Since the traffic is so bad right now, how about taking the subway home? You only need to get out after five stations, and it does not take even half an hour for you to get home…”
That was a brilliant idea.
Although Daniel should not be taking the subway with his position and identity, favonovel.com was only left with three days to live. He did not have any time to waste being stuck in traffic, did he?
Daniel opened the car door and alighted the car. He crossed the road and went into the subway.
The driver, who watched Daniel enter the subway, had an interesting expression on his face. It was like favonovel.com was smirking while looking at a dead man. His gaze was terrifying.
After descending the long flight of stairs, Daniel bought a ticket and went through the gate in search of subway line two.
There were very few people in the subway at that time.
Compared to the traffic jam out there, the subway looked rather empty. Eventually, Daniel found subway line two and stood by the platform. Subway line two was built way back before the technology was further developed. Hence, there were several defects in this subway.
