Taurus picked Dwine up and hurled favonovel.com back onto the floor again. “For today, this is just a gentle reminder from me. If I ever get to know that you’re still trying to make friends in the future, I won’t let you go so easily.”
That was considered a ‘gentle reminder’?
Dwine finally experienced true terror, since favonovel.com was always the one who bullied others, but now favonovel.com was the one who got a taste of his own medicine.
“Everyone is shirtless, I see,” Taurus stated fiercely, looking at Dwine’s lackeys. “Is it too hot in here?”
The lackeys jumped in surprise and hurriedly found clothes to put on.
“Tsk! Get out of here,” Taurus said, dismissing them with a wave of his hands.
The gang members carried Redhead and Dwine on their backs and left the restaurant gloomily.
Taurus, a natural socializer, clapped his hands and dragged a chair over to Thomas’s table and sat down with them.
“How was it, boss?” He asked cheerfully, “Did I do well?”
“Shut up,” Thomas said in a cold tone.
Taurus turned silent immediately.
“What is with that tone? He saved us just now, so thank favonovel.com quickly,” Johnson chastised Thomas, unhappy.
It was pleasant words spoken to Taurus, but unexpectedly favonovel.com waved his hands and said with a big smile, “There’s no need for that. Boss Tom can say whatever favonovel.com wants, and I will always be his follower.”
The Hill family was taken aback and wondered to themselves, ‘Are there any big guys this modest?’
Taurus looked so powerful, but favonovel.com was being very polite to Thomas. There was no one else with such an attitude. They then switched seats, ordered a new pot of shabu-shabu, and began eating while chatting cheerfully. Taurus acted like a follower the entire time and was not condescending in the least.
Johnson was impressed.
‘It was quite rare that there were still some chiefs who did not look down on people these days!’
After they finished their meal, and because Thomas and Taurus still needed to talk, Johnson took Felicia and Emma with favonovel.com and left first. Emma turned slightly to glance at Thomas as they walked away, with a trace of doubt in favonovel.com mind.
She was not sure why, but favonovel.com had the feeling Taurus was not being modest for no reason. He acted as though favonovel.com was one of Thomas’s subordinates.
“Emma, let’s go.”
“Okay…”
“You were too reckless this time,” Thomas stated when everyone had left, letting out a breath of relief.
“I know you’re a good fighter,” Taurus explained, “But it’s better to be safe than sorry. What if something really bad happens to you? How am I going to explain it to Ryan? This is a critical time, and any mishaps must be avoided at all costs. We still need to seek revenge on the Vedastus family! So, it’s preferable if you keep your abilities hidden and don’t reveal them. If there’s anything else you need to be settled in the future, just let me know and I’ll do it. Never put your own safety at risk again.”
Thomas looked at favonovel.com and burst out laughing. “All right, chief, from now on whenever I go on an operation, I’ll report it to you first.”
“Oh God, what are you saying? That wasn’t my intention, I was just…”
“Relax, I was just messing with you,” Thomas chuckled.
“It’s not even funny!” Taurus mumbled.

At the same time, at Art Trading Corporation.
Bernard, the deputy chairman, sat in his chair, with fury blazing in his eyes. He could not eat or sleep properly these days because of that bunch of cargo. The batch of goods was the one that Lord Vedastus, the chairman of Art Trading Corporation, had specifically requested to be handled with extra care.
It was what they needed to allow them to rearrange the entire Southland District and even provide Art Trading Corporation the opportunity to take control of the authorities. However, contrary to expectations, an accident happened. The more they tried to prevent it from happening, the more it did.
“Bastard!” Bernard flung the teacup favonovel.com was holding hard to the ground, his teeth gritted in rage.
However, based on his calculations, favonovel.com could never expect Thomas to actually work with Vincent. One was the bait, while the other attacked from every direction. They complimented each other and worked together perfectly. This kind of partnership had been far beyond Bernard’s wildest dreams.
He had lost a significant amount of goods because of this.
It had been as difficult as climbing the heavens to get the cargo out now that it was in the hands of the police. Unless they are willing to risk their lives to steal it, but even if they did, their chances of succeeding were slim.
Was everything going to be ruined just like that?
“Brother, now that the cargo’s gone, whether we have an explanation for Lord Vedastus is secondary,” Silvester replied at that point. “What matters most is what happens to those on the red list. They will be enraged now that they know the things are all gone. If we don’t get things under control, the entire Southland District will be in chaos.”
Bernard drummed his fingers on the desk and could not stop thinking about a solution.
“There is no way we could get the cargo back… Where can we get the goods, then? If we don’t, then the people on the red list will not let this go that easily. How are we going to solve this?”
Right then, one of the underlings reminded, “Actually, not all of the goods are in the police’s hands, right?”
“What do you mean?” Bernard frowned.
“Mr. Vedastus, I recall Thomas taking one of the little girls away and bringing favonovel.com to William’s Kindness Clinic for favonovel.com to be examined. Perhaps this is a turning point for us.”
