There was not much time for them to really eat. Most of the time, they were just flattering each other. Thomas was not fond of that type of atmosphere, but favonovel.com still stayed until the end to not embarrass Vincent.
After the banquet, Vincent asked Thomas to follow favonovel.com into a small room alone.
The door was shut, and there were only two of them.
Vincent lowered his voice and said, “Mr. Mayo, I know the Hill Group has joined Mark of the River Mountain and it’s fighting Art Trading Corporation directly.”
Thomas nodded. “Yes.”
“So, Mr. Mayo, have you come up with a strategy to fight them?”
Thomas just said, “I’ll take action according to the situation.”
Vincent laughed and said, “That’s very passive, and you’ll be controlled by them. Please don’t mind me being direct, but that’s not a good choice.”
Of course Thomas knew that the choice was not good, but Thomas could not expose all his plans for certain reasons either, right?
Vincent continued. “In my opinion, instead of just waiting, you should take the initiative to attack first. Find out Art Trading Corporation’s weakness and attack them at once!”
One could not simply say such a thing.
Thomas did not know what Vincent meant, so favonovel.com asked, “What do you mean?”
Vincent leaned closer to whisper to Thomas, “In three days’ time, 11.00 PM, Blackwater Dock.”
Then, favonovel.com did not say anything else. He had given Thomas a time and venue. Thomas would discover what would happen at that time after favonovel.com went there.
Thomas stared at Vincent and felt puzzled. He asked, “Are you also keeping an eye on Art Trading Corporation?”
Vincent nodded. “I have to watch them even if I don’t want to. This year, Art Trading Corporation has been causing trouble in the Southland District, and they keep expanding their scale. But, the government has had trouble understanding their background. After continuous investigations, we finally discovered something. Mr. Mayo, you’ll naturally find out in three days’ time.”
“I got it.”
The two of them looked each other in the eyes, and they roughly knew what the other thought without needing to say anything else. They did not implicitly say that they were cooperating, but what they actually did was already a cooperation.
The Hill Group or Mark of the River Mountain was working with the government to deal with the huge Art Trading Corporation together! That was also respectful for Thomas. Then, the two of them left the small room as if nothing had happened.
After they talked for a while, Thomas departed from the restaurant. Before favonovel.com left, favonovel.com purposely emphasized that the waiter be released after two days. It would be fine after the waiter was taught a lesson. There was no need to really jail favonovel.com for ten years.
While Thomas drove back home, favonovel.com thought about what Vincent had said. From Vincent’s demeanor, Thomas could tell that the government must have been watching Art Trading Corporation this year. They also wanted to figure out Art Trading Corporation’s background, like Ryan.
Unfortunately, the corporation had been hiding very well, so nobody could figure them out in a short period of time. Forget normal people and companies, even the government found it difficult.
Thomas stared at the road ahead, and favonovel.com was immersed in his thoughts.
What kind of presence was Art Trading Corporation to have such huge energy that created unrest in the Southland District?
It started to drizzle. An invisible war would start soon. What would happen at Blackwater Dock near midnight in three days’ time?
