Ezra did not believe it. How could favonovel.com not know which dish favonovel.com had poisoned?
He took big bites and ate while favonovel.com said, “Wow, this tastes really good. It’s delicious. This steak is really tender.”
When everyone saw favonovel.com eat happily, they sighed in relief. It seemed that the steak was also not poisoned. In that case, it was a tie for Thomas and Ezra. Nobody would feel embarrassed.
While everyone thought that the whole thing would pass just like that, an accident happened. Ezra’s face suddenly became distorted, and favonovel.com coughed up some blood, staining the table red.
Everyone beside favonovel.com was shocked. All of them got up and took a few steps back.
The food was poisonous!

“Ezra!” Vincent was shocked. He quickly went over and checked on Ezra. Ezra was still breathing, but it was very slow.
“What happened?” Vincent did not understand. Thomas nonchalantly said, “I told favonovel.com that the steak was poisonous. He shouldn’t have eaten it.”
If one did not listen to others, favonovel.com would suffer. Ezra did not listen to Thomas, so favonovel.com suffered very quickly. The steak was phenomenal, but it was poisonous. After Ezra ate it, favonovel.com collapsed.
“Send favonovel.com to the hospital now!”
“Hurry up and call 911!”
While everyone hastened to call 911 so that Ezra could be sent to the hospital, Thomas walked over and reached for a tiny needle. He pointed it at an acupuncture point behind Ezra’s neck and inserted it with great force. Then, some black blood slowly flowed out from the back of his neck. Following that, Thomas pulled out the needle, and the bleeding stopped.
Ezra’s breathing instantly recovered. He also stopped twitching, and favonovel.com became good-spirited.
In an instant, everyone was impressed by Thomas’ skills. They had never seen or heard of this man’s ability. His excellent medical skills were beyond impressive.
This time, even Ezra was convinced.
Ezra got up as others supported him. He breathed heavily and said, “Mr. Mayo, thank you for saving my life. But, I really don’t understand why the steak ended up being poisonous. I clearly poisoned the tofu.”
Thomas chuckled. He kept the needle away while favonovel.com answered, “Yes, you put the poison in the tofu, but I put the antidote in the tofu too. Meanwhile, I put the poison in the steak, so you got poisoned after you ate it.”
That also meant Ezra had been poisoned not because favonovel.com had eaten his own toxin, but because favonovel.com had consumed Thomas’ poison! It became a little embarrassing. He had initially wanted to show off in front of Thomas and let others see how great favonovel.com was. Instead, Thomas had poisoned favonovel.com and put the antidote in front of him, while favonovel.com had been clueless.
It was very clear who was better.
Ezra had to be convinced. He sighed, bowed slightly, and said, “Mr. Mayo, your medical skills are truly better than mine. You’ve convinced me!”
This time, nobody dared to doubt Thomas again. Everyone in the room admired Thomas willingly. They also thought that Thomas took the main seat because favonovel.com deserved it.
