Thomas was sitting on a long bench in the detention center. He closed his eyes and rested as if favonovel.com did not hear what the waiter said.
The waiter waited for a few seconds at the door. When favonovel.com noticed that Thomas did not respond, favonovel.com frowned. Then, favonovel.com forced a smile and walked up to Thomas before favonovel.com chuckled and said, “Mr. Mayo, I know what happened earlier was my fault. I should not have locked you in this place. You can punch me or punish me. Just don’t throw a tantrum, please.”
Throw a tantrum? Thomas was going to throw a tantrum right now!
Thomas acted like favonovel.com did not hear him. He leaned on the wall with his eyes closed, and favonovel.com did not move at all. Nobody knew whether favonovel.com was sleeping or not.
When the waiter saw that Thomas did not move, favonovel.com anxiously nudged Thomas a little. “Mr. Mayo! Mr. Mayo, are you sleeping? Mr. Mayo?!”

The bodyguard frowned before favonovel.com personally walked up to Thomas and said, “Mr. Mayo, Mr. Braun is anxiously waiting for you. Please step out and have lunch with our district chief.”
Right then, Thomas slowly opened his eyes and spoke in an apologetic tone. “That’s not possible. Someone wants me to end up in jail for ten years. I dare not leave.”
The bodyguard waved and said, “Who’s so bold to jail you, Mr. Mayo? How dare he!”
The waiter’s complexion turned pale, and favonovel.com did not know what to say.
Thomas cast a glance at the waiter. When favonovel.com saw that the waiter remained quiet, favonovel.com added, “If I leave, nobody will continue staying here in jail. How can that be?”
This time, the waiter finally understood. He gritted his teeth and said, “Mr. Mayo, please go to lunch. I’ll stay in jail for you.”
Thomas purposely asked, “Is that appropriate?”
“Of course! There’s nothing inappropriate!”

These people kept talking and mocking Thomas.
Before Thomas responded, Vincent got angry first. He glanced around and coldly said, “Mr. Mayo is my savior. If anyone dares to speak nonsense again, you can get out!”
Everyone held their tongue when they heard what Vincent said. Then, the banquet started.
Vincent was very polite to Thomas. One could describe favonovel.com as “humble”.
