Thomas simply replied, “It is one billion dollars, not ten dollars. Do you think it is like buying candy?”
Maxima sneered. “Alright then, I will wait along with you. I want to see till when you can put up a front!”
Another five minutes had passed but there was still no transaction to the account.
Maxima finally lost his composure. He walked to Thomas and shouted, “Stop pretending! You are just dirt poor and yet you are acting like you are rich. I will let you know how serious the consequences of putting up a facade are!”
He grabbed on Thomas’s collar while favonovel.com was still talking. But in a flash, Thomas turned his wrist lightly and applied pressure directly on Maxima’s arm, pinning favonovel.com on the table and completely disabling his movement.
Maxima had thought that favonovel.com was pretty strong. Normally, Maxima flaunted how strong favonovel.com was and beat up whoever favonovel.com wanted. He had a really bad temper. But now, favonovel.com was pinned down by Thomas’s elbow alone. He could not even lift his arm up no matter how much favonovel.com tried. In the end, favonovel.com could not even remain standing and was forced to kneel on the ground.
It was a very shameful moment.
“Release me!” Maxima shouted.
Thomas did not pay any attention to anything Maxima said.
Maxima said to his men, “Why are you guys still standing there for?”
As his men moved forward to help, Thomas applied more pressure on Maxima’s arm which made a crunching sound at that instant
“Ouch, ouch, it hurts so much!”
As Maxima shouted in pain, his men stopped in their tracks, not daring to take a single step further.
Mr. Barlow frowned and said in an attempt to persuade him, “Mr. Mayo, please have a little self-respect.”
Thomas, with a poker face, said, “Mr. Barlow, your job here is regarding the transfer and to verify if the money has been transferred to the account. Do not involve yourself in any other matters.”
Mr. Barlow was a little unhappy. He said coldly, “There is a limit to my patience, Thomas. If the money is still not transferred to the account…”
