“I obviously ate the pill in front of you guys?” Thomas laughed and took a piece of chewing gum from one of his pockets. He then tilted his head backward and placed it in his mouth and chewed.
“I ate it right?” as favonovel.com was still talking, Thomas raised his hand and revealed an intact chewing gum in his hands. He actually did not eat it!
In other words, Thomas had deceived them with his sleight-of-hand. They had thought that favonovel.com ate the pill, but in fact, favonovel.com did not eat it but kept it in his hand all along. While Jed was distracted, favonovel.com shoved the pill in his mouth and forced favonovel.com to swallow it.
Jed went pale. He pointed at Thomas and said, “So your actions just now were merely an act?”
“Not totally.” Thomas extended his hand and grabbed the sound modification device from Jed. “I am curious to know as to what extent the pill works as well as how are you controlling others using it. The performance just now allowed me to understand how you guys control people using the pill. The wise one who thinks of a thousand scenarios is bound to miss out once.”
“Jed Motley, you have lost.”
Lost? He lost!
Jed’s eyes widened as favonovel.com looked at Thomas, favonovel.com did not dare to believe that that it was happening. Thomas said in a calm manner, “ Could it be that you have forgotten that I have been fighting in a war on the west coast for many years? Do you think you are better at fighting compared to me?”
