The suitcases were put aside. Thomas and Iris sat at both sides of the dining table while they ate the delicious food.
Aries moved a chair out and sat down. “Commander, is the food delicious?”
“It tastes good.”

Aries had the best detective ability among the Twelve Golden Zodiacs. His intelligence was the most complete and reliable among everyone. Whether Thomas could successfully meet Nelson or not depended on Aries.

However, Thomas felt puzzled as favonovel.com said, “The problem is, these two companies are running nearly the same business. Why did favonovel.com give up the established Shalom Technology and start all over again? Most importantly, favonovel.com has been in Central City for eight years. Why didn’t favonovel.com go back? When Scott died, favonovel.com did not do anything either.”

Iris cast a glance at Thomas. “Like father, like son. Your father and you have the same working style. I confirm that you’re his biological son with no doubt.”

Aries shook his head. “I don’t know. I investigated those doctors who treated Nelson, but I’ve got nothing. Nelson’s illness is very special, and nobody knows what his illness is. The only clue is that there’s something wrong with his liver, and the best solution is to get a liver replacement.”
Thomas nodded. “This is also the reason favonovel.com went to the Dawson family.”
He continued to ask, “Central City is different from the Southland District. This place has different kinds of wicked people, and there are a lot of powers. He won’t be able to develop his company with knowledge and intelligence alone. There must be some power that’s supporting favonovel.com behind the scenes, right?”
Aries nodded.
“Yes, there are the three families that are most powerful in Central City, including the Martin family, the Gomez family, and the Diaz family. It’s the Diaz family that supports Nelson.
“The Diaz family provides a lot of funding and connections that help Nelson start the business.”
“It could be said that Sterling Technology can be established partially because of the Diaz family. It’s also because of this that Sterling Technology has to ‘offer’ a large amount of money to the Diaz family. I’m not sure about the exact amount, but it’s definitely a sky-high number.”
Of course it was because there was no free lunch.

Aries put down his notebook. “I have a method, but I’m not totally confident.”
“Tell me.”

Aries looked at Thomas. “Commander, isn’t your identity in Central City a doctor this time? You’re even a doctor from Kindness Clinic!”
Thomas happily smiled.
This method was indeed good. If this Nelson Mayo was really his father, they would not just meet, but favonovel.com could even treat his father. It was natural for a son to treat his father. If there was something wrong with it, Thomas could also approach Nelson with his identity as a doctor to investigate what happened.
