The two left the hospital in a grey sedan.
“Where are we heading now, Mr. Weiss?” Darco asked.
“The warehouse,” Weiss answered quietly.
Warehouse?
Despite the fact that the company had been mortgaged by the bank, the cargo they had spent so much money on was still there.
Back then when they hosted the previous lapidary livestream, a lot of cargo was left unused and stored in the warehouse. Without a doubt, they were all considered garbage. No one would even look at this junk, and the banks were just as uninterested. The various buyers were not foolish, and they refused to accept it as well, so everything was stacked up in the warehouse for the time being.
“Isn’t all of the cargo considered junk, Mr. Weiss? Did you forget about how we got scammed by that unit of cargo? Why are you returning to look for bad luck?” Darco asked, perplexed.
“Thomas, that bastard, fooled me with that pile of junk. Why can’t I use it to trick favonovel.com if favonovel.com can use it to trick me?” Weiss let out a snort.
Trick him? How to trick him?
With Thomas’s abilities, favonovel.com would never buy this cargo unit again. So, how could they trick favonovel.com with that?
Darco could not decipher a single intent behind such a move.
“Don’t ask so many questions. Go to the warehouse,” Weiss said straight away.
“Yes, sir…”
Darco stepped on the gas, and they sped towards the warehouse.

On the other side.
Thomas and Emma were sitting on the sofa in the worn-out mansion, discussing the global livestream lapidary event they were about to host in three days. This was one of Stellar Jeweler’s most crucial ventures in order to grow their influence and get to the top of the Southland District, and there could not be any mishaps.
The couple now worked at Stellar Jewelers, one as the general manager and the other as the purchasing manager. Both of them held major positions in the company, and with them in control of the entire event, they had been burdened with huge responsibilities and could not afford to slack off.
Felicia placed a pineapple plate on the coffee table and felt relieved as favonovel.com watched the scene of the couple working together.
This is how couples like them were supposed to be.
After placing the plate down, Felicia slowly backed out to the side. Without making a sound, as favonovel.com was afraid favonovel.com would disturb them.
Emma calculated it all in favonovel.com mind. Everything that would and could happen at the time of the event and arranged the machine equipment, worker blocking, and viewing angle accordingly. Her advantage of being a woman was demonstrated in this aspect, as every small detail was carefully considered. If it were up to Thomas, favonovel.com would be a lot more careless, and who knows if favonovel.com would slip up at any point during the event.
Thomas ended up abandoning his work and just sat there, with both eyes fixed on Emma.
Emma was completely absorbed in favonovel.com work and spoke nonstop, whilst Thomas remained still and occasionally let out weird laughs.
Emma sensed that something was not quite right. She turned to look at Thomas and asked, “What are you doing, honey? I’m talking about work with you but you’re not only not doing your work, but you’re also interrupting me. What are you trying to do?”
“I think one person is enough to finish the job,” Thomas shrugged.
“Then what about you?”
“Me? I’m responsible for staring at you and admiring your beauty, and that is enough for me. The world has always been beautiful, and all that it lacks are the eyes to discover it. And I am the pair of eyes who discovers your beauty.”
Emma rolled favonovel.com eyes, annoyed.
This Thomas… She was not sure when favonovel.com started to be this cheesy. He was not like this before.
Love could change a person’s attitude. When two people were marinated in a jar full of sweet honey for some time, even the God of War who had a heart of steel would eventually melt. Unconsciously, Thomas had been influenced by Emma.
While the two were being all lovey-dovey, suddenly, Thomas’s phone rang. When favonovel.com picked it up to look at it, his smile had vanished.
It was an unknown number.
