Thomas laughed. “This shows how brilliant Benjamin Garnett is. The cost of buying over a normal employee is far lesser than those in the management team. But their roles and potential to be utilized are immeasurable.”
“These normal employees belong to the bottom of the hierarchy and are able to survive there all year round. They have a very clear grasp of the ongoing in the company. If there are any movements within the company, they will notify Benjamin immediately. That is not all, they can fan the flames, praise Benjamin and use all sorts of methods to attack anyone. These people are truly disgusting, being able to create and spout all kinds of nonsense disregarding the authenticity.”
That was true.
While those of the management level were held responsible for every word they said, the lower hierarchy ones needed not to care about that. They were able to speak and spread rumors however they wanted without needed to suffer the consequences. What was scarier was that they formed gangs in the company and ruined the atmosphere of the company.
“Huh?” Zach looked at Thomas. “Thomas, since you go against Benjamin all the time, by right those traitors at the lower hierarchy should have spread numerous rumors about you. But why do I not hear a single word of scolding against you?”
Thomas chuckled. “Because they do not dare.”
“Why?”
“It is very simple. Punishing someone as a warning to others.”
Thomas took a sip of wine from his glass and explained, “There was this one guy who spread rumors about me and talked behind my back. I was aware of it as well. First of all, I did a public declaration and personally ensured that favonovel.com would end up in prison. He was sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of eight years and was also required to pay one million six hundred thousand dollars for damages.”

The edge of Thomas’s lips rose up. “Yes, Director. Unless you do not want to see Weiss’s reaction after spending three billion dollars to snatch our goods?”
Zach was suddenly delighted. “How can I not want to? This show, we must enjoy it to its best! In this case, let’s go according to your plan, first, we watch the show, then we remove the moles.”
