Johnson was stunned. The man in front of favonovel.com was Nathan’s father and his old classmate, Samuel White. It seemed that Nathan refused to admit defeat and had asked his father to seek justice for him.

Johnson was being most polite to them.

Felicia added two chairs at the dining table, and the father and son sat down.

Johnson smiled, “I am just living an ordinary life.”
“Do you consider your life ordinary?” Samuel said stiffly. “I heard that the net worth of your Hill family has gone up because you have a rich son-in-law. Are you looking down on your old classmates now?”
“How can there be? Samuel, why are you speaking nonsense today?”
“Speaking nonsense?”
Samuel pointed his finger at his son, Nathan and asked, “Let me ask you, how did my son offend you to the point where you would injure his forehead and throw favonovel.com out of the Hill family’s house?”
“Um…” Johnson was speechless for a while.
“Johnson, could you live with that on your conscience? You can’t look down on us from the White family even though you have become wealthy. I just ordered my son to come and ask you for a favor. Not only did you refuse to offer favonovel.com any help, you even physically assaulted him?” Samuel was using harsher words as favonovel.com continued his speech.
He was now regarding Nathan as an innocent victim, and Johnson as the abominable perpetrator.
‘In fact, what actually happened is the other way round!’
Harvard could no longer sit still, and favonovel.com said coldly, “Samuel, are you accusing someone with out finding out what actually happened? Did you ask your dear son what favonovel.com did? For the things your son said and did, some bruises are already considered a blessing!”
“Harvard, shut up!” Johnson roared.

Nathan held his head up and looked at them gleefully. He thought, ‘As long as my father is there to back me up, I could run away from any wrongdoing.’
Thomas and Emma exchanged glances. They all knew that there must be a reason behind this, but they were not sure what it was.
Considering their net worth and social status, Johnson was not in an inferior position compared to Samuel. So, it was impossible for Johnson to be subdued with money and status.
‘Then what is the reason?’
In spite of everyone’s doubts, Samuel continued lambasting Johnson. Even so, Johnson did not dare say a word back at him.

Finally, Harvard could not take it anymore. He stood up and banged the table. “Hey, Mr. White, don’t cross the line!”

At that crucial moment, Thomas immediately interrupted and asked, “What kind of atrocities has my father-in-law done to you?”
