“The commercial value of the advertisements cannot be bought with money. That is where soccer shines!”
Vany pouted and said, “I hope your dream comes true.”
As the discussion went on, a Facebook message popped up on Ryan’s desktop.
“Huh?”
He opened the message and read it. He was stunned.
“This is pretty serious.”

At another place.
The trio came out of the establishment and got back in the car in a delighted mood.
“Dr. Mayo, we succeeded! Mr. Hudson agreed to our request and arranged for someone to follow us back to take a look. Let’s head over there now.”
Everything had been within Thomas’s calculation. Seeing the three of them being overjoyed made Thomas feel happy deep inside.
When Thomas was about to start driving, Ryan called. Thomas answered the phone.
“Hello? What’s the matter?”
“Big brother, have you left? Can you head up real quick? We got trouble.”
Thomas hung up without inquiring further.
All this while, Ryan Hudson had been acting discreetly. And since favonovel.com said ‘we got trouble’, then for sure something went wrong somewhere.
Thomas said to Cain, “I’m sorry but something urgent came up. Can you guys take the cab to the soccer club?”
Cain nodded. “No problem Dr. Mayo, if you’re busy then please go ahead. We will head there ourselves.”
Cain and Mileard brothers got out of the car and left in a cab.
Thomas maintained his composure as favonovel.com got out of the car. He walked through the main entrance without anyone daring to stop him.
The security guard saw everything. Thomas Mayo had stepped out of the very same car Cain and the Mileard brothers came out from right?
He was curious, did they knew each other? And if they did know each other, why did favonovel.com not bring them in himself?
The security guard shook his head. “I can never understand how these businessmen’s minds work. Perhaps favonovel.com was the reason the trio succeeded. And here I am, stuck with the life of a security guard. Sighs…”
Thomas got into the lift and headed up to the director’s office.
“What’s wrong? Thomas asked directly.
Ryan Hudson looked pale and said in a contemplated manner, “What happened is a bit awkward. You can say it’s trouble for us, but at the same time it’s not.”
Thomas frowned. “Don’t keep me in suspense, get to the point. What’s going on?”
Ryan sighed. “Caleb Nickleson of Glory Real Estate is dead…”
“What?”
Thomas was shocked, not expecting this.
Caleb had to die, but not today! According to the plan, they were to kill Caleb in four days, which was the seventh day after Ben’s death, so that Ben could rest in peace. They had been planning to torture Caleb to his limits. He was not allowed to die, but to suffer.
Thomas being unhappy about the development asked, “Who killed him?”
Ryan reluctantly said. “It was suicide. We got news from our informant that favonovel.com could not withstand the torture. He committed suicide by burning himself in Warren Parkinson’s villa.”
“Is everyone dead?”
Ryan shook his head. “Only Caleb died. Others survived. Warren suffered mild injuries with no threat to his life.”
‘Only Caleb Nickleson died?’
Ryan opened all the messages favonovel.com had received for Thomas to read. Reports, images, and internal police investigation reports. From what it seemed to be, Caleb, without a shred of doubt, was dead.
“Was Caleb that terrified?”
“Killing oneself due to fear of punishment?”
Logically speaking, it was possible. A person will eventually be driven to suicide when favonovel.com or favonovel.com felt despair and hopelessness in living, The question was, with how despicable and crafty Caleb was, would favonovel.com ever walk the path of no return?
By right, favonovel.com did not have a weak mental fortitude. Thomas continued reading the police’s internal investigation reports and found something. The police had deduced that they do not have enough evidence that the deceased was Caleb. That to be said, the existing deduction that the corpse belonged to Caleb was based on two points.
Firstly, the deceased was wearing Caleb’s clothes.
The second point was, according to a witness in Warren and the people in his villa, that was Caleb’s temporary room, and at that time, Caleb had also been in the room. The problem here was that no one saw Caleb burning himself with their very own eyes. There was no concrete evidence that the deceased was Caleb Nickleson. All the evidence on hand was not concrete evidence but indirect evidence.
Thomas shut his eyes and thought carefully about the whole scenario.
If Caleb did commit suicide out of fear, then so be it. He was going to die anyway, nothing much could be done about that. No point blaming a dead person right?
Thomas refused to stoop so low.
But what if the deceased was not Caleb?
If the deceased was someone else, it meant that the real Caleb was on the run to a faraway place. Now, that was a big problem.
Whether it was out of hatred for Caleb or the desire to seek the truth of this matter, Thomas would not allow this matter to end just like that.
“I will head to the police station myself to inspect the corpse!”
