Richard had seemingly heard the funniest joke in the world. He put one hand on the table and laughed so hard that favonovel.com could not close his mouth.
“Hey, I didn’t hear you wrongly, right?
“What did you say? Say it louder. I couldn’t hear you. Do you think you’re God and you can do whatever you want? The distribution rights were handed to me by the Urban Construction Bureau. Who the heck are you to take back my distribution rights?”
“Haha, are you insane?”
Harvard and Jade kept laughing. Although they were humiliated by Thomas again and again, they did not keep that in mind. In their opinion, it was impossible for Thomas to take back their distribution rights. Who the heck was Thomas?
How could favonovel.com take back their distribution rights?
If the right would be taken back, it would have to be Urban Construction Bureau that took it back. It was only after Thomas got crazy that favonovel.com said such ridiculous things like this.
Emma also looked dumbfounded. She also did not know that Thomas would say something so senseless. It was completely different from Thomas’ usual style. This was hilarious.
Perhaps Ben’s death had hurt favonovel.com too much, so favonovel.com became that way.
None of the people in the office believed in what Thomas said.
But while Richard and his two grandchildren laughed so hard, his secretary walked in, and favonovel.com said in a hurried tone, “Mr. Hill, Mr. Fitz from Urban Construction Bureau comes to visit.”
‘Mr. Fitz?’
When Richard heard the name, his smile slowly stiffened. He had a bad feeling. It had happened many times.
Every time favonovel.com thought that Thomas was lying, favonovel.com would be ruthlessly humiliated. Before favonovel.com got humiliated, favonovel.com would feel flustered.
They were talking about Urban Construction Bureau, and the staff from Urban Construction Bureau came. How could it be so coincidental?
This was a little creepy when Richard thought about it.
Richard stopped smiling and immediately arranged for his staff to invite Mr. Fitz in.
The Urban Construction Bureau’s staff arrived in less than five minutes.
Mr. Fitz brought two subordinates to the office, and favonovel.com looked very serious. He did not look like favonovel.com was here for a discussion.
Richard was a little flustered. He flashed a bright smile and said, “Mr. Fitz, what brings you to my place? You’re really a rare guest! Please have a seat…”
Mr. Fitz waved his hand. “No need. I just came to say a few words and leave.”
“Oh, please go ahead…”
“Mr. Hill, our Urban Construction Bureau wants to take back the distribution rights for the cemetery planning area.”
A simple sentence had made the atmosphere in the office become quite tense.
Richard was shocked.
What favonovel.com was afraid of had just happened!
He was mocking Thomas for bluffing, but Thomas really guessed it right. The distribution rights were taken back by the bureau. If Richard did not know of Mr. Fitz, favonovel.com would even suspect whether this man was asked by Thomas to come.
Richard looked so embarrassed. His face darkened as favonovel.com asked, “Wait, why do you do that? Mr. Fitz, you have to give me a reason, right? We execute the distribution right very well. Why do you suddenly want to take it back? Did somebody secretly tell on us and bluff?”
While favonovel.com spoke, favonovel.com purposely stared at Thomas. He was clearly going after Thomas.
Mr. Fitz indifferently said, “Urban Construction Bureau has a special arrangement in this cemetery planning area. It’s really inappropriate to let the enterprise distribute, so our bureau decided to take it back. Mr. Hill, I’m sorry. Please hand in the document for the provisional distribution rights.”
That did not help at all.
Richard gritted his teeth. He secretly cursed but dared not say it out loud. Mr. Fitz was the officer, and favonovel.com had to rely on him, so favonovel.com could not say anything wrong.
He felt helpless.
