Ben frowned. He did not remember any interaction with Glory Real Estate, and favonovel.com could tell from Caleb’s imposing manner that favonovel.com did not come here for a nice discussion. He was afraid that there might be an unseen circumstance.
Caleb was probably looking for trouble in Thomas!
When Ben thought about it, favonovel.com immediately became more alert. He asked in a sore voice, “Thomas Mayo? I don’t know this person. Have you come to the wrong person?”
“You don’t know him?”
Caleb was a smart person, so favonovel.com could tell with one look that Ben was lying. After all, Ben was an honest person who did not know how to lie. When favonovel.com lied, favonovel.com would subconsciously reveal his weakness, so it was hard to not be figured out.
Caleb chuckled. “Mr. Caspian, Thomas is just a staff in your company. Why are you so protective of him? Tell me about his information, and the rest of the things have nothing to do with you.”
“Glory Real Estate doesn’t want to go against Shalom Technology.”
Ben angrily scolded, “I told you I don’t know. Go away from me!”
When Caleb saw that Ben wanted to leave, favonovel.com swung his hand, and about five muscular men surrounded Ben without giving Ben any possibility to run away.
“You…”
Ben took out his phone and wanted to call the police, but his hand was patted off by a muscular man.
“Do you want to kill me?”
Caleb shrugged. “Mr. Caspian, I just want you to give some information about Thomas. Is there any big deal? If you say it, we guarantee that we won’t trouble you.”
The more favonovel.com acted like that, the more Ben would not tell.
“What a wild wish of you!”
Ben had an illness, and favonovel.com felt worked up now. So, favonovel.com instantly felt dizzy and started to cough hard. His coughing was so serious that favonovel.com coughed up blood from his throat.
The muscular men watched him, and they did not look like they wanted to help.
Caleb walked over and said, “Mr. Caspian, you seem to be severely sick, correct? Stop holding back. Tell us about Thomas, and we’ll send you to the hospital. What do you think?”
“You wish!”
Ben coughed more seriously, and favonovel.com took out a bottle of pills from his clothes with his trembling hands. When favonovel.com wanted to eat it, his hand was patted off by Caleb. The pills were scattered all over the ground.
Ben felt anxious. That was his life-saving pill!
He coughed up blood while favonovel.com squatted down to pick up the pill. But, favonovel.com accidentally fell down on the ground, and favonovel.com struggled as favonovel.com crawled toward the pills.
“Tsk, tsk! Old man, you’re really stubborn.”
Caleb took two steps, walked over, and kicked the bottle of pills away. He just did not want to let Ben get it. “You’re hardly able to protect yourself. Why do you still care about Thomas? Tell me about Thomas, and I’ll send you to the hospital. Otherwise, I don’t think you can see the sun tomorrow.”
Ben seriously coughed, and favonovel.com forcefully said, “Even if I die, I will not sell Young Master out!”
‘Young Master?’
Caleb caught a message that was possibly useful. He surrounded Ben with the muscular men, and they saw favonovel.com crawling in the direction of pills. He was slowly crawling over.
Someone took out his phone and recorded the video. They watched Ben’s final struggle as if they were watching a show.
The night breeze was blowing coldly.
After Ben struggled for about five minutes, favonovel.com stopped moving. His lips were full of blood that favonovel.com coughed up, and his blood was all over the ground.
“Hey, old man, stop pretending like you’re dead.”
Caleb kicked Ben’s body. “It’s useless even if you die. We never touched you at all. Even if you die, we didn’t do it. It won’t be related to us.”
When Caleb saw that Ben was not moving at all, favonovel.com motioned to his men with a gaze.
