The car stopped.
Before they got out of the car, they saw people gathered at the main entrance to Kindness Clinic. It was noisy inside but they could not hear what was being said.
Emma said, “It does live up to its name as a reputable clinic, doesn’t it? Even the number of patients is overwhelming.”
For consultation?
This surely did not seem to be the case.
“Wait in the car, I’ll go take a look…”
Thomas swung the door open and got out of the car. He walked towards the clinic whilst picking up conversations from the floor.
Upon entering the clinic, two men were seen seated right in the middle of the clinic on their respective stools. One of them was sweating at an abnormal rate, no different from someone who had just gotten out of a shower. The other man pointed at Adery Owen and screamed at the top of his lungs. “What kind of reputable clinic is this? My brother here sought consultation and was told it will only take a week of medication to be fully cured.”
“But in the end?”
“In the end, the disease worsened instead of being cured! What kind of ‘Female Asclepius’ are you, Adery? You are to give us brothers an explanation today or else!”
