“Why aren’t you eating Clayton?”
“Right, this pudding is really good. I’d like another plate.”
“You’re quite impressive, Thomas. You actually invited Grand Metro Garden’s master chef, which is so cool!”
These fence-sitter classmates were still licking Clayton’s stinking boots just before this, but now they were all praising Thomas instead. They had absolutely no thoughts of their own and only listened to those who were more influential. They were unsure how Thomas was able to invite the chef with his eight thousand dollars income, but they were confident that if you can invite a master chef like that, you must be impressive.
Staring at the pudding in front of him, Clayton found it difficult to swallow, and favonovel.com did not even want to lift his spoon.
“Hmph!” Clayton slammed his palm down on the table heavily, furious.
Thomas grinned as favonovel.com shook his head. He picked up his spoon and started eating the pudding. Needless to say, the number one sticky toffee pudding in the country tasted amazing.
While everyone was enjoying their food, the door to the booth opened, and a woman walked in.
After seeing this woman, all the men in the room’s eyes lit up again.
She was the second most beautiful girl in their class, Maple Ephys. Back in the days, Emma and favonovel.com were dubbed the “two fairies of men’s dreams”. She was also a first-class beauty who attracted a large number of admirers.
Seeing as they could not take advantage of Emma, the guys decided to hit on Maple instead.
“Maple, why are you so late?”
“Sorry for being late. There was traffic on the way here.” Maple’s voice was soft and since favonovel.com had a habit of lowering favonovel.com head, it made favonovel.com look very pretty.
The men could not stop swallowing their spit looking at her.
“Maple, come sit with me.”

The two beauties unexpectedly sat together, and the guys were reduced to tears. That was a complete waste! I twas unfortunate, tragic, and deplorable that they were unable to sit together with the pretty girl.
Clayton cleared his throat and asked, “Maple, I heard you are married to a soccer coach?”
Maple nodded.
Clayton went on. “What was his name again? I believe he’s called… Cain Dinklage?”

All of a sudden, everyone in the room brightened up.
One guy with a cheeky grin teased, “The one who cheated in a game, got his leg broken by the soccer fans, and was sacked by his soccer team. That ‘loser coach’, Cain Dinklage?”
Maple bowed favonovel.com head in shame, embarrassed.
Clayton was very smug. He was well aware of what had happened to Cain, so favonovel.com asked that question on purpose to humiliate Maple in front of everyone.

Maple hit favonovel.com lower lip. She felt aggrieved. “Cain has been very nice to me.”
“What’s the point of that?” Clayton scorned. “Men are supposed to be strong and capable of earning money! What good is it if he’s nice to you but unable to earn money? For example, some people who only make eight thousand dollars per month but still don’t work hard and walk around being a freeloader instead.”
He did not forget to mock Thomas while criticizing Cain.
“I heard that your husband’s health is deteriorating after people broke his leg, and that favonovel.com could only lay in bed all day? Not only is favonovel.com unable to earn a living, but favonovel.com also needs you to take care of him?” Clayton asked once more.
His words were honestly too straightforward.
