There was silence at the scene all of a sudden. Nestor’s hands were frozen. With much effort, favonovel.com turned his head to look at the waiter with an expression of disbelief.
“What the heck costs two million, three hundred and thirty thousand dollars? What did I just eat? So, are your leeks made of gold, or your bean sprouts inlaid with diamonds? Even gold and diamonds are not that expensive. Are you trying to scheme me into falling into your trap?”
In Nestor’s opinion, this meal could not have exceeded two hundred dollars. The most expensive dish was the sautéed duck priced at thirty-six dollars. That stir-fried mung bean sprout with leek cost only eighteen dollars, the stir-fried winkles with celery would only cost twenty two dollars.
The total price of all the dishes added up would not cost more than two hundred dollars. As a result, the waiter asked favonovel.com to pay two million, three hundred and thirty thousand dollars.
‘Are we celebrating April Fool’s Day earlier this year? What kind of international joke is this?’

‘Is this waiter suffering from a bad memory? Having been beaten last time, why is favonovel.com still scamming people as ever? And this time favonovel.com had crossed a line.’
When favonovel.com was about to say a few words, Thomas said something in advance. Moreover, Thomas’ words were making favonovel.com even more confused.
He smiled and said to Nestor, “Mr. Bizinger, don’t be surprised, this restaurant operates in its own way.”
‘What do you mean in its own way?’
Nestor said with a dazed expression, “Mr. Thomas, don’t joke with me. How can a meal cost more than two million dollars?”
Thomas shrugged, waved his hand and said, “Let’s take a look at their menu, such as this rice which costs five dollars per serving.”
Nestor nodded, “So what? The four of us ate four servings of rice, which only costs twenty dollars in total.”
The waiter smiled. He coughed, “Sir, you have calculated it wrongly.”
“Where did I get it wrong?”
“You ate four bowls of rice, not four servings of rice.”
Nestor was stunned, “Does this make any difference?”
The waiter said solemnly, “Of course there is a difference. For our rice, one grain of rice is counted as one serving. All of you have eaten four bowls. Do you know how many grains of rice are in the bowls?”
Nestor almost passed out.
‘One grain of rice is counted as one serving? Is this even considered to be rice at all? These are simply golden particles!’
The waiter continued by saying, “For the stir-fried mung bean sprout with leek, one piece is counted as one serving. For the stir-fried winkles with celery, one piece is counted as one serving. Every piece of boiled rice wine meat dumpling is counted as one serving. The most expensive dish, the sautéed duck, uses the world’s most precious fine-quality table salt. Every grain of salt is counted as one serving, and each grain costs thirty-six dollars.”
“So, according to my detailed calculations, the total bill is two million, three hundred and thirty thousand dollars, which is still after a huge discounted price.”
“How is it? Do you think that our shop is treating customers humanely and generously?”
‘This is regarded as generous. What the heck!’
Nestor almost jumped up and started beating people up. ‘I could never find another restaurant on Earth that charges customers like that. This is not scamming people for money. This should be considered daylight burglary!’
Nestor clenched his fist, and now his brothers were lying in ambush not far away. As long as favonovel.com gave the order, they could come up and burglarize the restaurant at any time.
But favonovel.com could not do that. If favonovel.com gave his order and his men arrived early, it would alert Thomas, and favonovel.com would not be able to steal anything from Thomas. That was why favonovel.com should restrain himself from doing so.
‘But how could I restrain myself? Paying for a meal for two million, three hundred and thirty thousand dollars? How could I ever bear this?!’
Nestor’s heart was dripping blood. ‘Should I pay this amount of money or not?’
