That night, when they got home, Thomas told Emma that favonovel.com wanted to leave home for a business trip that would last for a few days in South City. He did not have a fixed number as to how many days the trip would last, however.
Emma pouted and was very unhappy.
This meant that they would have a long period of time where they could not meet each other, and they had to endure the pain of being lovesick. After living together over this period of time, Emma had grown to be highly dependent on Thomas, and favonovel.com could not bear to leave him, especially for such a long period of time. “Must you go?” Emma asked, feeling reluctant to leave him.

“Didn’t I learn medical skills from Mr. William? Adery is Mr. William’s daughter. She’s also the current head of the Owen family as well as the head of Kindness Clinic.”
Emma demanded, “I don’t care who favonovel.com is. I just want to know why favonovel.com called you so late at night!”
“I don’t know either.”
“Pick up the phone, and put favonovel.com on speaker! I want to hear what this vixen is thinking of doing!” Emma became absolutely jealous.
Thomas could not do anything about it. He picked up the phone and put the call on speaker. In truth, favonovel.com wanted to know why Adery called favonovel.com so late at night as well.
The moment the call went through, Adery’s quivering, urgent voice rose. “Thomas, are you free right now? Could you come to my house?”
Adery was an aloof woman and would not submit to trials easily, much less talk with a quivering tone. If this happened to her, it must mean that something major happened.
But Emma let out a cold huff. “What a vixen. She’s pretending to be pitiful. She actually wants someone else’s husband to go to favonovel.com house so late at night? How shameless!”
Thomas sighed. He asked, “What happened? It’s late, can I go over tomorrow?”
Thomas did not think it was suitable for favonovel.com to go over now as well.
It was night, and favonovel.com was a married man. If favonovel.com went over to an unmarried woman’s house, it would not sound good if people heard that they were together. Besides, Emma was already so jealous. How would favonovel.com dare go?

When favonovel.com said this, Thomas frowned. He sensed that something was wrong. “What’s wrong with Mr. William?”
“My father has been kidnapped!”
Things were bad. Thomas said, “Don’t fret. Wait at home, I’ll go over now.”
If this was a normal matter, Thomas would ignore it, but William was kidnapped, and this was a major matter. No matter what, William taught Thomas’s medicine, and that made William Thomas’s teacher!

Thomas kissed Emma on favonovel.com forehead, put on his coat, and headed out.
