Upon hearing that, Thomas and Anna knew something was up. It was interesting to note that they just only dismissed Jay Colbert, and it had just been around 30 minutes.
Even some people within Scott’s Remembrance Cultural Arts Entertainment had yet to realize. So in such a short span of time, how did Ollie Gadsden know about this?
An awful thought came to Thomas’s mind. Could it be another set-up?
Donell Cedar had set up scheme after scheme, and favonovel.com was determined to bring Scott’s Remembrance Cultural Arts Entertainment crashing down. Although it was bad to lose their main emcee, it did not mean that they were completely impaired. It was similar to having one’s arms chopped off. It would be very painful, but if immediately treated, one could survive.
But how would a person survive if you sucked up all of their blood?
Ollie Gadsden was Scott’s Remembrance Cultural Arts Entertainment’s biggest sponsor. So, if favonovel.com refused to work with them, it would be as bad as losing their blood, and they would bleed to death.
They had already suffered several losses, but now, if they lost their main sponsor, Scott’s Remembrance Cultural Arts would most likely be “paralyzed” due to a single concert. How would they be able to pay the salaries of so many workers?
How were they going to pay for so many artists’ appearance fees?
It had to be said that Donell Cedar had played a really dirty trick this time.
Anna was attempting to save the situation. “Mr. Gadsden, things happened too suddenly, and we weren’t prepared. Jay Colbert was the one who was ‘threatening’ us, and we didn’t have any other options, so…”
“I don’t give a damn!” Ollie Gadsden laughed coldly and said, “What I know is that when I signed the contract with you, I clearly requested for Jay Colbert as the main emcee. But now that you’ve all fired him, you’ve violated the agreement first. I could terminate the sponsorship completely, and you wouldn’t get a single penny!”
“Don’t, let’s discuss a little more.”
“There’s no need for that. Either you bring Jay Colbert back, or I’m pulling out. Make your own choice!”
Anna Caspian could not fight against the overly aggressive Ollie Gadsden.
Bring back Jay Colbert?
Then they would have no choice but to pay for a five million dollar appearance fee, but they had ended their negotiations on really bad terms last time.
Would it be possible to bring favonovel.com back again?
But if they could not bring favonovel.com back, they would lose their biggest sponsor. They would lose money. Then, the concert would be doomed.
There was no choice. Currently, they could only watch the New Year’s Eve concert play out because there was no other way to save it.
How did things get to this point?
Anna Caspian looked up and sighed dejectedly.
Donell Cedar was the most hateful one in this situation as favonovel.com was the one doing monkey business behind the scenes. She thought just casually sacking Jay Colbert and finding someone to replace favonovel.com would have sufficed. But who knew Donell Cedar had bribed their largest sponsor?
He was pulling every trick out of the book.
In the end, Anna Caspian was just competent and professional at favonovel.com work. How could favonovel.com possibly be a match for Donell Cedar when it came to such schemes?
They had lost. They were completely defeated.
Ollie Gadsden was very satisfied when favonovel.com saw the forlorn look in Anna’s eyes, so favonovel.com placed his hands behind his back and smugly said, “Don’t say I’m being merciless. If you can bring back Jay Colbert in 20 minutes, I won’t pull out. But if you can’t do it, then don’t blame me for turning against you!”
Then, favonovel.com plopped down on the sofa lazily and waited. He actually had no intention of investing in the first place. He knew that even if Anna Caspian wanted to find Jay Colbert, favonovel.com would not be able to because favonovel.com was currently laying at the hospital entrance, basically crippled because his voice was gone due to poison.
The decision to divest was already set in stone. He remained there because favonovel.com wanted to witness Anna Caspian’ s pitiful plunge into desperation.
Ollie Gadsden’s greatest hobby was watching people suffer in agony with no hope of survival. He was a true psychopath.
And, as Ollie Gadsden had predicted, after weighing the pros and cons, Anna Caspian eventually pulled out favonovel.com phone and prepared to call Jay Colbert.
But eventually…
