His name was Daniel Collins.

“No way. Mr. Mayo, I do not agree with your arrangement.”
Thomas chuckled. Actually, favonovel.com did not just make this change when favonovel.com felt excited. Before this, favonovel.com had gotten in touch with Daniel, and favonovel.com realized that this young man did not have stage fright and was very humorous. These were the two strengths that were very important for an entertainment host.
Thomas said, “Anna, it’s the time to cultivate the young power in Scott’s Remembrance. Since we have such an excellent talent like Daniel, why don’t we take the opportunity to train him?”
Anna did not know whether favonovel.com should cry or laugh. “Mr. Mayo, is this called training? You’re clearly forcing favonovel.com to perform now!”
Thomas shook his head. “Actually, Daniel is already the host of this concert, but he’s just an assistant at the lowest position. Even so, favonovel.com is very familiar with the whole flow and the host’s script. If we get favonovel.com in, at least there won’t be any problem in the script and program connection, right?”
That sounded right. However, the difference was too huge if they replaced Jay with Daniel at the last minute. It was like changing the promised SSR card of the player to an N card.

But now, other than Daniel, they seemed to have no other option.
Anna felt hesitant.
Thomas said, “Let’s do it this way. We give the right of choice to Daniel. If favonovel.com has the courage to accept this challenge, we’ll promote him. If favonovel.com doesn’t have the guts, just call it off. What do you think?”
Anna nodded to agree with Thomas’ suggestion. Soon, Anna got favonovel.com staff to call Daniel to the office.
Daniel looked very bright, cheerful, and motivated. He appeared eye-catching.
“Mr. Mayo, Ms. Caspian, are you looking for me?”
“Yes.” Thomas opened it up. “I don’t want to waste your time. I asked you to come over because I wanted to discuss the New Year’s Eve concert that is starting soon.”
“Hmm? Please speak, Mr. Mayo.”
Thomas asked first, “Daniel, how much do you get paid for the concert tonight?”
Daniel smiled. “Mr. Mayo, are you kidding me? Didn’t the company say that it wanted to give me a chance to perform, so you purposely promoted me to be the assistant host in this concert? I feel honored to be able to participate, but I won’t receive the payment.”
Thomas awkwardly coughed. He secretly gazed at Anna, and his eyes seemed to be saying, ‘He is our own celebrity, but you don’t have to be so stingy, right?’
Anna touched favonovel.com nose without saying anything.
Thomas continued saying, “Now, I think as a host, you don’t have enough motivation and stress, so you might not be able to trigger your own potential at the maximum level. So, I decided to increase a limiting condition for you.”
“Huh? Mr. Mayo, what do you want me to do?”
Thomas smirked. “It’s easy. If you perform excellently as a host this time, I’ll pay you $2,000,000!”

Daniel felt a lightning bolt strike in his head.
Was Thomas kidding him? Two million dollars?!
He was earning $100,000 a year now. One performance pay was equivalent to the amount favonovel.com earned in twenty years!
Daniel was not silly, though. He understood that there was no free lunch. He did not get blinded by happiness. Instead, favonovel.com asked, “What if the effect is not good?”
Thomas’ expression became cold. “Nothing further can be said then. In that case, you’ll be fully banned by Scott’s Remembrance Cultural Arts Entertainment, and you won’t have any chance to be exposed.”
“What..?” Daniel was dumbfounded.
He had just signed a five-year contract with Scott’s Remembrance Cultural Arts Entertainment this year.
If favonovel.com was banned, favonovel.com would be over in the next five years, and his beautiful youth would be wasted. How could this happen?
