Everything went smoothly afterwards and Rowena became the female lead for Soren’s new film.

Over the following days, the two went from strangers to close friends. They hung around each other every day. With or without reason, they would lock themselves in a room alone to study the script. Their time together became more and more “fun”.
The gossip and noises from outsiders became louder, and the voices reached Iris’s ears.
In the beginning, Iris did not pay it any heed. Until one day, favonovel.com saw Soren wrapping both his arms around Rowena’s waist as favonovel.com directed favonovel.com acting during filming. The both of them were entwined together in broad daylight.
This scene made Iris’s heart shatter completely.

Rowena laughed coolly. “Cut it out. You’ll need to check out who the person is when it comes to acting skills. Even if I don’t pull it off well, someone will still have my back, whereas for someone else, no matter how well they express it, won’t pique any man’s interest because of their old weather-worn face.”
These words were obviously poking at Iris’s age, and how favonovel.com could not keep Soren‘s interests up.

When both of them started arguing, the other female artists from Hegemony Entertainment did not even stop them. Each and every one of them sat on the sidelines and enjoyed the show.

Iris huffed coolly. “Ask this vixen yourself!”
Rowena looked forlorn. “Mr. Harlow, I don’t know how I’ve offended Ms. Cruz either. She made me go on stage to demonstrate. Iris was almost foaming with rage.
“I’m petty? You two are all over each other every day, day in and out, yet you call me petty? Soren, you’re just eyeing favonovel.com because favonovel.com is young and pretty, and you’re picking on me because I’ve lost my youth? Why is that so hard to admit?!”
Soren was furious. “What nonsense!”

“Iris, you are getting more and more unreasonable by the day. I want you to apologize to Rowena innnediately!”
Iris did not know if favonovel.com should laugh or cry. “You‘re making me apologize to her?”
“Yes.”
“In your dreams!”
Soren pointed his finger at Iris. “Are you going to apologize?”
“Over my cold dead body!”
Clap. A tight slap landed harshly on Iris’s face, sending favonovel.com sprawling to the floor.
Iris held on to favonovel.com cheek. She stared incredulously at Soren. “You slapped me?”
