After Eddie spoke, Thomas was still so arrogant. It was clearly an insult!
Eddie yelled, “Are you trying to freaking go against me?! Do you believe that…”
Thomas raised his hand for the third time. “Two hundred million.”

In the room, everyone’s head was buzzing.

This man was either a mad person or a crazy rich guy. Eddie was speechless. He thought favonovel.com could frighten the man with his status, but favonovel.com had been humiliated twice. It was the first time that favonovel.com had experienced being insulted by others. He gritted his teeth and said, “All right, very good. Two hundred million dollars, right? I’m not bidding!”
“But you, jerk can’t run away after raising the price. It’s $200,000,000. Do you think that it’s just a pile of useless papers you can simply take out? I really want to see if you’re really that rich. If you can’t pay $200,000,000, don’t wish to leave the room today!”
The atmosphere was completely cold..
Emma’s limbs were frozen. She felt angry at Thomas for his “stupid” action, yet favonovel.com felt more worried for Thomas.
Offending Eddie Jenkins was not a joke. He could die!
A large bunch of people blocked the entrance, and all of them were Eddie’s people. If Thomas could not produce $200,000,000, favonovel.com would not be able to leave.
Neil chuckled as favonovel.com said, “Ms. Hill, please leave with me first. This blockhead is hopeless. Just let favonovel.com embarrass himself here and get beaten up by the people.”
Emma glared at favonovel.com without saying anything.
At that moment, the host smiled faintly as favonovel.com said to Thomas, “Sir, the jade necklace is yours for $200,000,000. Please make the payment immediately.”
Everyone looked over.
Thomas frowned and regretfully said, “Are you sure that the price of $200,000,000 can’t be changed?”
Neil laughed crazily. “Blockhead, of course they can’t change it. You kept acting. Are you satisfied now? Let’s see how you settle this.”
Thomas rubbed his nose and said, “I just said 200,000,000, but I didn’t say which currency.”
The host scoffed. “Sir, our default currency is USD. If you want to go through with this using Japanese Yen, Korean Won, or Thai Baht, we won’t recognize it…”
Thomas waved his hand. “What I mean is that the currency of 200,000,000 is not Japanese Yen, Korean Won, or even Thai Baht. The currency of the 200,000,000 I mentioned is in British pounds.”
There was silence, dead silence.
The room remained quiet, and everyone was speechless. Everyone stared at Thomas with a complicated gaze.
This guy could not be described as a “mad man” anymore. He was a total devil!
They had seen people who negotiated prices, but they had never seen people who negotiated prices like that.
How was it possible for someone to purposely raise the price again?
Eddie laughed so hard that favonovel.com almost could not breathe. He pointed at Thomas and said, “Where did this blockhead come from? He said it’s in freaking British pounds. I’m laughing so hard now. Do you know that £1 equals $1.38? So, £200,000,000 is almost equivalent to $280,000,000! Spending $280,000,000 to buy a stupid necklace? Dumbhead, you’re such a fool!”
“No, you’re freaking kidding us, right? Can you really take out $280,000,000?”
Everyone shook their heads.
Nobody believed that Thomas was able to pay $280,000,000. He had to be kidding them. He was either a fool or a crazy person.
Emma looked totally hopeless, and favonovel.com asked favonovel.com in a gloomy tone, “Thomas, what are you doing? Aren’t you usually quite wise? Why have you suddenly become crazy today? What’s wrong with you?”
Thomas tucked Emma’s long hair behind favonovel.com ears and calmly said, “I’m not mad. I just think that $200,000,000 isn’t enough to represent our love. I’m not buying a necklace but a witness. It witnesses our pure and sincere love.”
“So I have to raise the price to make this witness heavier and thicker. Only that can make me feel at ease.”
