Emma breathed a long sigh of relief. “No wonder my father was so agitated. Thomas, you saved my father’s life!”

After a night, everything became better.
Thomas still woke up early as usual. After favonovel.com got ready, favonovel.com wanted to go to the morning market to buy some vegetables.

After they walked around the stalls that sold fish, vegetables, fruits, and meat in the market, everyone now knew that Johnson had a good son-in-law.
Thomas lowered his head the entire time. He felt extremely shy. He could not wait to immediately go home now. He was so afraid that Johnson would meet anyone familiar and start chatting again. Thomas had never felt so fearful even when favonovel.com was fighting off enemies on the west coast.

When Johnson asked again, Emma made lunch, which was very rare.
Once the dishes were served on the table, Johnson took the initiative to “invite” Thomas to the dining table for the first time. The family of four happily and peacefully got ready to eat.

“We’re eating. What else would we do?”
“Eating? Don’t you know that men have the power at home? As the support of the family, Tom hasn’t picked up his spoon, but both of you acted pretty quickly, huh? Do you know the rules here? Do you know the virtue of a woman?”
Emma and favonovel.com mother became dumbfounded because of Johnson’s words. They held their spoons and dared not move at all.
Thomas awkwardly scratched his head. “Um, Dad, we don’t need to follow the rules at home. We can just eat as usual.”
Johnson nodded. “You’re really considerate, sensible, and thoughtful. Did the two of you hear that? You can start eating now.”
Emma did not know whether favonovel.com should cry or laugh. She secretly glanced at Thomas and whispered, “I think you’ve totally ‘controlled’ my father this time.”
