“Stop making a fuss here, Young Master.”
While they spoke, they arrived in the lobby. All the staff members could be seen standing in two rows. They bowed to Ben and respectfully said, “Mr. Caspian.”
“Mr. Caspian.”
Ben was stunned. He had not wrapped his mind around it. “Young Master, what’s going on now?”
Thomas smiled as favonovel.com said, “Uncle Ben, from today onward, you’re the general manager of Shalom Technology. You will handle all company affairs.”
“Huh? What…”
Ben dared not believe it, but favonovel.com had to believe favonovel.com as it just happened right before his eyes.
Thomas moved forward and whispered into Ben’ s ear, “Uncle Ben, do you still remember our agreement? As long as I get Shalom technology back, you’ll return and help me. Why? Do you want to go back on your word?”
“Did… Did you just… Get Shalom Technology back?” Ben was so shaken that his eyes became teary.
Scott’s death and the loss of Shalom Technology were scars that favonovel.com had been unable to rid. Now, Thomas had helped favonovel.com turn one of his regrets around.
“Great! Well done!”
Ben held Thomas’ hand tightly. “Young Master, you’ve done an amazing job! There’s actually a day that we can get Shalom Technology back. I can now die with no regrets!”
Thomas shook his head. “Uncle Ben, if you die, who can help me to manage the company?”
He led Ben into the General Manager’s office, and someone was standing inside the room. He was the chairman, Camus, who was also known as Aquarius.
Thomas said, “Uncle Ben, this is my subordinate, Aquarius. I call favonovel.com Camus in public. He is the chairman of the company now.”
“What about you?”
“I’m the stockholder, so the company is still under my control. But, I don’t want the outsiders to know about this.”
Thomas stopped for a while before favonovel.com continued to say, “Aquarius and I are soldiers, so managing the company is not our expertise. I guess we can only be superiors who don’t get involved. We need you to handle everything for us.”
Ben laughed out loud. “I’ve handled Shalom Technology my whole life. I just know how to do this. But, my restaurant has just opened, and it’s a shame. It needs to be closed when I’ve just opened it not long ago. I feel reluctant to do it.”
Thomas nodded. “Uncle Ben, you can hand your restaurant to me. I’ll find someone reliable to take over. I won’t let the restaurant go to waste.”
“That will be the best case.”
Ben felt happier the more favonovel.com talked about it. This kind of getting back what you had lost was really indescribably great.
To make favonovel.com feel happier, Thomas turned on the computer and took out the name list of the staff members.
“Look, Uncle Ben, this is the current name list of the staff. Is there any staff who make you feel unhappy? I can fire favonovel.com now!”
Ben immediately saw two names. “Humph! Are these two fellows still shamelessly staying in Shalom? Darcy Davis and Brendon Davis need to be removed!”
“Okay, I’ll do according to what you said.”
Thomas let the secretary call Darcy and Brendon to his office.
Since the chairman and general manager had been replaced, Darcy and Brendon’s positions were now downgraded. They became normal vice presidents, and their positions, as well as authorities, were also much lower. Back when the two of them chased Ben away, they never thought that Ben would still be able to come back to the company and even become their superior.
The situation had been reversed. It was finally their turn to be unlucky. Both of them lowered their heads as they dared not look at Ben.
Ben sneered and angrily scolded them. “Darcy Davis, Brendon Davis two of you are jerks! Shalom Technology treated you quite well, but both of you cooperated with Skyworld Enterprise to frame the former chairman, and you caused Scott to die miserably. You caused Shalom Technology to fall into someone’s hand.”
“How could you still continue working in Shalom? As the general manager, I now order you two traitors to be removed from the company. Pack your stuff and get out!”
