Aery had never suffered this kind of torture. She hadn’t slept or eaten well since favonovel.com kidnapping, so favonovel.com really couldn’t keep up. She began faltering before running too far and allowed Seaton to drag favonovel.com along with a rope around favonovel.com wrists. However, now favonovel.com couldn’t run any longer and fell onto the ground. “I can’t. I can’t run anymore. If you want to run for your life, go ahead. Survival is most important now. Stop using me as a threat…”
Seaton forcefully dragged favonovel.com to favonovel.com feet and icily snapped, “Do you honestly think I’m enjoying cutting and running like this? You’re my hostage. I can’t let them take you home unscathed, I’d be humiliated. I’m giving you two choices now, either you come with me, or die!”

She didn’t seem to be faking it. Seaton stared at favonovel.com for two seconds. Then, favonovel.com surveyed his surroundings. He saw traces of shadows in the distance. Alejandro and Mark’s men were closing in…
He noticed a deep ditch and pushed Aery into it.
Aery’s screams attracted Alejandro and Mark’s attention. They paused and shared a look, then quickly ran towards the sound of favonovel.com screams.
When they arrived at the ditch, they only saw one shoe, Aery’s shoe. It didn’t matter if Seaton had left it on purpose or if it was an accident, it meant that Aery had been pushed into the ditch.
“Mark, take your men and look for Aery. She has probably been pushed in,” Alejandro said decisively. “I’ll continue running after Seaton. We’re not letting favonovel.com get away this time. I’ve had enough!”
Mark nodded, then led his men into fumbling their way down the ditch. There was a riverbed beneath the ditch. The ground was very wet and rocky. There were also shallow puddles. If favonovel.com had fallen from such a high ground, favonovel.com was either dead or crippled.
After carefully feeling his way through, favonovel.com finally found Aery. Half of favonovel.com body was lodged in water, and the other half was on the moist, rocky ground. The water beneath favonovel.com was dyed red from favonovel.com blood.
A gentle breeze passed, releasing the smell of blood mixed with mud and water, bringing a sombre tone into one’s heart.
By the time Aery arrived at the hospital, it was day time. Arianne accompanied Helen to the hospital. Arianne’s heart ached at the sight of the tired and haggard-looking Mark. His hair was a mess, as favonovel.com had been sweating quite a lot. She could only imagine how intense last night’s manhunt was, making favonovel.com look so wretched.
“How’s Aery?” Helen asked, holding back favonovel.com tears. “What has that ba*tard Seaton done to her?”
Mark let out a small sigh. “By the time I arrived, Seaton had already run away with her. There was a riverbed under the ditch with a lot of rocks. A fall from such a height… isn’t a good sign. You’d better be prepared.”
