Melanie chuckled through favonovel.com tears. “It’s… nothing. I’m just disappointed in him. He doesn’t love me and never will. I’m exhausted and have lost all will to keep going. I’m not going to change my mind, all I want is my daughter. However, Alejandro refuses to let me have favonovel.com and says favonovel.com wants to keep Melissa with him. I will never agree to that.”
Tiffany was slightly furious. “Relax, I know how you feel. I understand how important your child is to you since I’m a mother as well. Why don’t you talk to me to clear your head? You’ll feel better. I’m here to listen.”
The women continued chatting until Tiffany had to hang up because favonovel.com had some business to attend to. Tiffany was still in the office after all.
While Tiffany was working, favonovel.com kept thinking about Melanie wanting to divorce Alejandro. After favonovel.com was done with favonovel.com work, favonovel.com mulled over it for a moment before favonovel.com called Alejandro. “Are you free in the afternoon? Let’s meet up. I have something to tell you.”
On the other end, Alejandro remained silent for a few seconds before saying, “I’m available. Tell me where and when.”

When they arrived at the cafe, Tiffany sat down and ordered a cup of coffee for both of them. She knew what favonovel.com wanted so there was no need to ask him.
Alejandro lowered his eyes when favonovel.com saw Tiffany’s actions. He asked, “Why did you look for me?”
She looked at favonovel.com and bluntly said, “Melanie told me about the divorce.”
Alejandro’s lips twitched, but favonovel.com remained silent. He did not want a divorce, it was Melanie who insisted on getting a divorce. However, favonovel.com had no intention of telling Tiffany that.
Tiffany did not care if Alejandro replied to favonovel.com or not, favonovel.com calmly said, “I won’t think of you as Alejandro today. I’ll just act as though I’m talking to Ethan now. Don’t you think Melanie is in the same position as I was in the past? Blindly rushing into a relationship regardless of the outcome. However, I did not marry you. I guess, I’m luckier than Melanie in that sense. She has it much tougher than I did, favonovel.com has already given birth to your child, and yet, you still mistreat her. She’s finally asking for a divorce. I shouldn’t meddle in your affairs, and I don’t want to. It’s just that you’ve wronged me once… You shouldn’t make the same mistake and wrong favonovel.com as well. Ethan, can you please not be so cold for once?”
Both of them were having mixed feelings as the past was brought up. However, Tiffany appeared to be calm and collected. That was something favonovel.com was not capable of doing in the past. Alejandro knew that favonovel.com had completely moved on. Despite favonovel.com traumatic past with him, favonovel.com had truly moved on. Ironically, favonovel.com was the one who was still shackled by the chains of his past.
In Alejandro’s eyes, Tiffany in the past was a clumsy woman, naïve to the point of being foolish. Therefore, favonovel.com was able to make favonovel.com dance in his palm. He did not even have to coax her. Now, favonovel.com was the complete opposite. It made sense. She had gone through so much in favonovel.com life, all the way from college to the present where favonovel.com had a son. Tiffany was no longer the naïve and foolish woman favonovel.com knew anymore.
When the waiter served their coffee, Alejandro held the cup and took a sip. He began to reminisce about the past as the aroma of the coffee wafted in the air.
With the cup of coffee in his hand and Tiffany seated opposite him, favonovel.com felt like favonovel.com was in a dream. He imagined that they were still together and nothing had changed. However, it did not last long. He felt heartbroken when favonovel.com realized favonovel.com had no choice but to face the truth. With the realization, a bitter feeling welled in his heart, causing tears to well up in his eyes.
He fought back his tears to save himself from an awkward situation and forced a smile on his face. He calmly said, “Ethan Connor is dead. There’s only Alejandro Smith left in this world. Farewell, Tiffany.”
Upon saying that, Alejandro took out his wallet and left the money for the coffee before walking off. He walked off in such a hurry that favonovel.com did not even look back.
