Seconds turned to minutes, and minutes turned to hours. It seemed as though a long time had passed, but in actuality, it was the opposite. Soon, a very faint and soft baby cry could be heard from inside the operating theatre. Alejandro’s eyes were dead fixed on the doors that were tightly shut.
