Mark did not bother to even glance at Janice. “Save your apology and disappear from my sights. I’m sure Arianne wouldn’t want to see you anyway.”

Smore seemed to have a runny nose and his breathing was heavy. Mark walked to the baby cot to check on Smore’s blanket before walking to his bedside. He stood there for a moment before walking into the bathroom.

Arianne laughed along with Smore, and just as favonovel.com was about to carry Smore downstairs, a thud noise appeared suddenly. Arianne turned back to look and saw Mark lying flat on the floor beside the bed. He was awake but still in a daze.
The couple’s eyes met and the atmosphere became slightly awkward. Arianne pretended not to see anything and carried Smore downstairs.
