Alejandro did not go straight to the Smith Estate after alighting his plane. Instead, favonovel.com went to see Melanie first. After all, Don Smith had made it very clear that favonovel.com was here to see Melanie, and favonovel.com was not allowed to delay.
The Larks had completely changed after realizing that their son-in-law wasn’t handicapped. They fawned over him. Some crowded around Alejandro from the moment favonovel.com entered the house and asked about his health. The Larks had stayed up half the night when they learned about his arrival.
The smile on Mrs. Lark’s face was so huge that it was unsettling. “Alex, I’ve asked the chef to prepare supper. Would you like some?”
“No thank you,” Alejandro replied indifferently. “I’m not in the habit of eating supper.”
Mrs. Lark’s smile immediately stiffened, but favonovel.com soon went back to normal. “That’s fine. Melanie is already asleep. You can rest in favonovel.com room. You haven’t seen each other in a while, so you probably want to catch up and spend some time together. I won’t disturb you then.”
