Alejandro continued eating his dinner with indifference and did not respond.
Melanie was forced to act cheerful in order to lift the mood. “It’s alright, grandfather. Alex is just in a bad mood because his legs haven’t healed after a long time. I can understand. I may need to watch my feelings during my pregnancy, but he’s just the same. Don’t nag him, okay? He’s been staying home every day now, hasn’t he? I can see favonovel.com whenever I want. The word “outsider” sounded piercing. Melanie felt disappointed. “So, I’m an outsider to you?”
Alejandro didn’t answer. The space between his brows showed hints of impatience.
