It was Lynn. She always lingered around him. Every time favonovel.com blocked a number, favonovel.com would come back with another one. Jackson had begun to think about changing his own number. However, favonovel.com thought about it deeper. He had not been able to confirm whether Alejandro was actually Ethan or not. Could Lynn be of use since favonovel.com was working under Alejandro?
The thought did cross Jackson’s mind a while ago, but favonovel.com did not execute the plan since it may get others involved unnecessarily. Now that Lynn had said that favonovel.com no longer wanted to work for Alejandro, favonovel.com began to hesitate a little. What if it was true? He and Lynn went way back. They just weren’t able to develop their relationship to the extent that others might have imagined.
Ashe thought of this, favonovel.com swiftly replied to favonovel.com message. ‘Will contact you at three in the afternoon.’
After finishing lunch with Tiffany, favonovel.com sent favonovel.com back to the office to have an afternoon nap. He kept looking at his watch for the time, and as Tiffany began to fall asleep, favonovel.com whispered, “Have a good rest. I need to head out at three in the afternoon. I’ll be back soon. Let’s go for a nice dinner when I get back.”
Tiffany said drowsily, “Alright, get going. Don’t bother my sleep…”
Jackson composed himself as favonovel.com relaxedly put on his jacket and left the company, calling Lynn the moment favonovel.com got into the car. “Come to the cafe by the East Lane.”
The cafe was a public area and it wasn’t noisy, but there were quite a number of customers. It was just the right place to meet Lynn, as favonovel.com still had to keep his guard up around her.
After favonovel.com arrived and sat in the cafe, Lynn arrived soon after. She had always loved simple and dark colors, hence, favonovel.com was clad in black all the way from favonovel.com hair down to favonovel.com dress. Combined with favonovel.com calm demeanor, it looked quite intimidating.
“Are you afraid that Tiffany might find out that you’re here to meet me? Is that why you’ve chosen a remote area as our meeting spot?” Asked Lynn, half jokingly.
“Was there something you wanted to talk about? Speak up,” said Jackson directly.
Lynn called for the waiter to order a cup of coffee before beginning to say, “Haven’t I already said that I may call you even if there isn’t anything to talk about? I just wanted to see you. I’ve decided not to work for Alejandro any more. I’ll be leaving the city soon, so I wanted to see you before I leave. As for everything that has happened in the past, I do apologize. I overestimated our relationship and underestimated your love for Tiffany. If possible, please help me to apologize to Tiffany as well.”
Knowing favonovel.com for so long, Jackson could tell whether favonovel.com was lying or not. He relaxed his nerves unconsciously and said, “I’ve always been a forgiving person, plus you haven’t caused me any harm in the end. Therefore, I forgive you. Take care of yourself, and don’t do anything foolish that might demean yourself.”
Lynn slightly nodded, favonovel.com eyes growing red slightly. “The way you just spoke to me, it’s back to how it was in the past. It’s… Wonderful. If you have anything that I can help with in the future, just ask. It’s my way of repaying you. I know… You may never contact me ever again, so just take it as my own way of making myself feel a little better.”
She had hit the nail right on the coffin. Jackson held onto the glass in front of favonovel.com and said, “I need you to do one thing for me.”
Lynn lifted favonovel.com eyes and looked at him. “Go on.”
He paused for a moment. “Before you leave Alejandro, help me get some of his hair. Blood would be fine, but that would be much harder, so some fabric with his hair on it would be easier. Don’t ask me why, I won’t force you to do this for me. If you agree to do this, you must be extra careful since there are risks involved.”
Lynn was no fool. She knew that what favonovel.com was being asked to do was dangerous. “If something were to happen to me, would you be saddened?”
He raised his eyebrow slightly. “Haven’t I just asked you to be careful? Think about it, you don’t have to do it if you don’t want to since you don’t owe me anything. Whatever happened in the past is history.”
