Jett furrowed his brows, hesitating. The old man was not as generous as Alejandro. After Don Smith left, Tanya emerged from the kitchen with a bowl of piping hot noodle soup only to find Jett standing at the doorway with a sullen look on his face. “Has grandpa left?”
Jett turned around and walked toward her. “What did you say to him? He’s not my grandfather. He’s Don Smith, Alejandro’s grandfather!”
