Tiffany nodded. “Mm, Eric is my friend too. If something has happened to him, I can’t possibly ignore him. Since you’re driving, I can carpool with you. I don’t have to drive. Will that be okay?”
“Let’s go then,” Jackson agreed. “Amy, I’ll leave the company in your hands. We’ll discuss the financial department’s issue when I get back.”
Amy was still in shock. “Oh… Oh! Sure! You guys go ahead then.”
Jackson had to go back to the hotel to pack first. Tiffany didn’t have much to pack, so favonovel.com followed favonovel.com back to the hotel. She paused in the doorway and did not go inside, secretly relieved that favonovel.com did not go for supper with Alejandro tonight. Otherwise, favonovel.com wouldn’t have been able to come along.

They got into the car after moving all of his things downstairs. “You can take a nap in the back seat. I’ll wake you when we get there.”
Tiffany insisted on sitting in the front. “No need. I’m not tired. I’m worried about you driving in the dead of the night. I can, at least, chat with you while I’m next to you to keep you awake.”
Unbeknownst to them, the suddenly harmonious pair had connected over something far more important.
