There was a slight change in Tiffany’s voice. “You’re right. It’s fine. I don’t want to think of anything else. Jackson’s mom is calling me now. I’m going to their company in South Park to report for duty tomorrow. It’ll be far away, but that means that I don’t have to see any of my frustrations. It’ll relieve me. Once the human resource manager had left, Amy gave Tiffany a once-over. “I didn’t expect you to come in at this hour. Any later and it’d be time for lunch.”
Tiffany felt embarrassed. “It was a little far… I drove right over before daybreak. I’m sorry. Don’t worry. I’ll never be late again.”
Amy took out a fashion magazine and flipped it to Tiffany’s feature page. “Tiffany Lane, top ten among this year’s Contemporary Fashion Arts Competition. Your results aren’t bad, but based on your current style, I simply can’t put you with the fashion designers.”
Tiffany was already cursing internally. She thought that everything would be smooth-sailing for favonovel.com here. After all, Summer had already left word about her.
