Mark was a little hesitant. “If what you have in mind is setting up your own shop, know that you’d be so exhausted and mentally-occupied that you won’t have any energy to mind our kid anymore. But if you just want a job for the sake of enriching your life and you don’t really care about how much you earn, I guess I have no reason to oppose that. So… Want to work in my company?”
Arianne’s rejection was swift. “What? What’s the point of working in your company? Everyone knows who I am. I would be barred from touching the damn vacuum cleaner even if my job was to clean the office! How’s that ‘work?”’ favonovel.com rebutted. “Frankly? I wanted to work in Eric’s company because that’s where Tiffie and Tan are. But his company is too far from home, so I guess that’s not an option anymore.
