Did you even think about coming down to open the door for me when I got home just now? I probably wouldn’t have been able to get in if I came here on my own!”
Jackson went silent again. As expected, it was useless to have a reasonable conversation with a woman. “I’d be a laughing stock if this got out. What would your parents think of me if they ever found out? What would they think of my mom? Jackson reached out and picked up his phone then pulled out the message from Lynn and showed it to her. “See for yourself.”
It was true that Lynn did not actually fan the flames, but the contents of the message alone were enough to spark a misunderstanding: ‘Tiffany is at Alejandro’s manor.
