The atmosphere became tense. Mark made no response. Arianne became nervous too.
Ethan did not pay mind to it. “The elders of the Tremont family are no longer alive. I want to bring my girlfriend to meet the elders, so I can only bring favonovel.com to meet my brother. Will you approve of our relationship? By the way, Tiffie is my sister-in-law’s best friend.” He spoke the last sentence distinctly. The dishes were served gradually. Ethan carried out his duties as a boyfriend by helping Tiffany with the food. “This was your favorite before. You should have some more.”
