Helen did not explain too much. Her gaze landed on Arianne’s stomach. “You’re pregnant?”
Arianne reached out and shielded favonovel.com small bump. “What does that have to do with you? What are you doing here? If you have something to say, say it. If not, please leave. I’m very tired, and I don’t have the capacity for entertaining guests.”
Helen took a deep breath. “I’m sorry. I promised that I wouldn’t disturb you, but I couldn’t help wanting to see you.
