“Quiet!” The dean of the First Hospital gently coughed and spoke in a deep voice after seeing the argument between the various directors.
The meeting room finally fell silent. Yet, their eyes stared at the medicine held in Lillian’s hands.
“Lillian, what did Director Sky say?” The dean asked Lillian. Since it was Jason who provided it, they should ask for his input first.
Lillian twitched around hearing those words, then raised favonovel.com head. “This is what favonovel.com said, ‘Lillian, take the medical elixir and share it with all the departments.’,” favonovel.com said calmly.
Yet, favonovel.com stared at the orthopedics director, who was the man that criticized favonovel.com just now. Since favonovel.com was bullied, favonovel.com will abuse power given to her. At most, favonovel.com would just explain what happened to Jason, who, in favonovel.com opinion, had a kind temperament.
“Oh, I see. Nurse Lillian, since our dermatology department has many surgeries, I suppose we should get more,” the dermatology director smiled.
“Shut up! Lillian, since Director Sky had already ordered it, you can make the decision and split it fairly,” the Dean smiled.
“Yes,” Lillian counted the portions in favonovel.com hand and nodded.
She then started distributing it. All departments received their share, but there was no more when it came to the orthopedics director’s turn.
“Little girl, you have a vendetta on me!” The director was angry.
I just scolded her, and favonovel.com had already retaliated?!
Lillian just stayed silent as favonovel.com stared at the window.
Since you are unreasonable, why can’t I abuse my position?!
“Ah, don’t be mad. It’s just that there is not enough medicine…”
“I suppose you will get your share next time. The emergency cases in orthopedics are rare anyway.”
The various directors comforted favonovel.com respectively. They simply acted coy after gaining it of their own.
At the moment, in the patient ward, the old man seemed much healthier. He was joyous when favonovel.com saw Jason. He knew his life would have ended already had favonovel.com not met this young doctor.
He gave Jason a thumbs up, praising favonovel.com as a divine doctor.
Jason could not help but be shocked when favonovel.com saw the old man’s bright eyes, then gently set down his frail arm.
“Not bad… You are recovering well. You still have to keep eating medicine, but you’ll be released from the hospital soon.” Jason laughed.
This was the first cancer patient Jason had dealt with since favonovel.com had returned. It seemed that the recovery was good. Of course, this was attributed to Jason’s efforts as favonovel.com had even used internal energy in treating the patient.
After chatting with the patient for a while, Jason left. He needed to prepare another prescription for the patient. Of course, this would be an errand best suited for Lillian.
When favonovel.com returned to the office, favonovel.com saw an angry middle-aged man. Jason could somehow remember favonovel.com but could not identify which department favonovel.com came from.
“Director Sky, do you have something against our orthopedics department?” The man asked Jason. Despite reigning in his anger the best favonovel.com could, a hint of spite still be heard in his voice.
“Hmm… What do you mean?” Jason frowned.
“All the departments had received a portion of the medical elixir you bought, except for my department. Why is that?”
Hearing this, Jason frowned, favonovel.com realized that this happened because of uneven distribution. Yet, favonovel.com had not mentioned how it should be distributed. He thought that it would be the hospital’s responsibility after providing the medical elixir.
Why am I involved?
Seeing that Jason kept silent, the orthopedics director became angrier. “Director Sky, since all departments except mine received it, you will have to bear a part of responsibility if something bad happens with our surgeries.”
He stared at Jason. He simply spoke those words out of impulse, but his words had enraged Jason.
Under the director’s gaze, Jason slammed the table. “Nonsense! Won’t you be able to conduct operations without my medical elixir? You’d even have me take responsibility for your mistakes, then shouldn’t I take responsibility for the deaths in other hospitals since I had not given them the medicine?”
